This book kind of feels like someone started a conversation about fat phobia and sex work and how sex is perceived in the media and by the general public and then never finished the sentence. With Nolan having been victim of a sex scandal, I would have liked more conversation about the various ways that was really fucked up. We spend a lot of time taking about how Bee is fat shamed and sex shamed and all but very little time talking about Nolan’s experience with public shaming, even though that’s basically his whole character arc. It just feels like an enormous missed opportunity.
I also wanted this book to be funnier, with more hijinks and shenanigans and such. It was … okay.

This legitimately might be the best fucking book I’ve ever read. I am destroyed. How do I go on reading other words when all the best words are inside this book?
