Really cute and sweet retelling of The Great Gatsby. It does a really good job of staying pretty true to the book (from what I remember of a book I read back in high school) while also being its own entity. A little predictable perhaps, but I love McLemore’s writing style so I was captivated regardless.

No fantasy elements in this one though, which I have to say, I was a little disappointed by. Still, a great book. The narration is fantastic as well.

Adorable. I would 100% hang out with any of these cryptids.

I stand by my review. Even the second time around, this was beautiful and captivating. The audiobook is amazing. At its heart, this book is a love song to stories and storytellers and it is an incredible experience.

What a ride. You get to a point in this book where nothing makes sense anymore, and so by extension, everything makes sense.

I’m really going to enjoy rereading this when I get around to it, because I still have a lot of questions, most of them of the “but what does this mean?” variety. (Some questions are of the “when was that? Did I miss that?” variety.)

Short online story, can be read here: https://clarkesworldmagazine.com/kritzer_01_15/

If Catfishing on the CatNet is the first book of Kritzer’s CatNet series, consider this book #0.5. And this - just by itself - was delightful. Wonderful short, quick read with a snarky AI main character. I’m really looking forward to reading Catfishing on the CatNet.
