How is it that this novella is my favorite book of this entire damn series?

Don’t get me wrong. The others are good and definitely worth reading. But this one is the best.

Like chocolate mousse, this was a fun, fluffy lark of no real substance. Also like chocolate mousse, one could argue that it does have substance but it’s all bad substance. I am choosing not to argue that so please refer back to my initial statement: fun, fluffy lark with no real substance.

This was … fine, I guess. Not really my thing. There were a few moments that were very cringe-y. The therapist speaks like someone who likes to wax philosophical about psychological subjects but has never actually taken a course in psychology. And why are all these people so good at taking control of conversations where they are being asked questions when the people asking the questions (the therapist, the cops) should be much better at not letting them have that control? Those scenes were frustrating for me.
