This book just didn't do it for me. Honestly I feel like there wasn't much of a story. Girl meets mysterious millionaire bachelor with kinky bedroom fetishes, they instantly fall into bed together....blah blah blah. Then it was so incredibly short that even their "relationship" was barely developed. I'm sorry, I hate sounding so negative, but this book just wasn't for me. It's doubtful that I will be continuing with this series.

Well, that was a hard book to rate. I feel like the first half of this book was a little hard to get through at times, Camryn was not my favorite person, she got on my nerves quite a few times. But I felt like the second half of the book was better, little things didn't bother me as much anymore, and I even started to hope it all worked out for them in the end.

Camryn....boy she didn't make it easy to like her at the start of this book. For awhile it was like she thought she was so much deeper and better than everyone else. Saying things like "Instead of sitting around dreaming up new sex positions, as Natalie often does about Damon, her boyfriend of five years, I dream about things that really matter. At least in my world, they matter. What the air in other countries feels like on my skin, how the ocean smells, why the sound of rain makes me gasp." Oh yeah Camryn, you are so freaking deep. It kind of made me want to punch her right in the head. Oh and let's not forget when some lady just looked at Andrew appreciatively and instantly Camryn decided she's a slut. It did seem to not be so bad towards the end of the book though. I just really never like Camryn very much.

Now Andrew is a different story. I liked him a lot more than Camryn. There were quite a few things about him that I didn't really understand, but he was interesting to read about for sure. I was pretty surprised with that twist at the end. I knew there was something going on with him, but I really didn't see THAT coming until it was pretty much shoved in my face. And damn if that specific thing doesn't tug on my heart strings....every single time.

I feel like the way, The Edge of Never ended really saved this book for me. It made me want to read the next book to see what happens next. I'm glad I didn't give up after the rough start, it turned out to be a decent book.

I'm sad to see this series end. I loved the first 2 books, the short (2.5) I didn't care for, and this last book was alright. So I guess it was time. I just feel like so much was left unfinished. What happened with the angel/fallen war? And I would have loved to get a little more info about all the characters after everything went down.

I also have to say I was bummed by the ending. Why did both Christian and Tucker both have to be so amazing??!!!! I was totally team Tucker at the beginning of this series but Christian just wiggled his way right into my heart too! I don't want to give away the end here but it was super sad to me that the one she didn't pick seemed non existent in her future. What the hell? That was a BIG time let down for me. I feel like most of this book was more about feelings and growing up more so then the "showdown" that this whole series seemed to be building towards. I was bummed the fight scene wasn't a little more epic.

All together though this was a great series and I really enjoyed it. And I think its probably not the worst thing if one of my biggest complaints is, I wish there were more.

Well that was interesting. I started out thinking that this book was pretty strange. At first it wasn't exactly grabbing my full attention. I'm not sure when it happened, but all of the sudden I was completely enthralled in this crazy world.

I really loved all these characters!! Perry, Aria, and Roar were all amazing!! I couldn't get enough of them. And what's up with Cinder??! I can't wait to read the next book and find out what happens with tjis squirrly bunch!! Seriously, that ending.....what did he say???!! I have to know!!!

Michael Grant is a seriously talented writer. There is so much detail that goes into these books, the environment, the people, the monsters....they are all described so well that it literally paints this whole horrifying picture in your mind. And I love it! Seriously though, where does he come up with this stuff??! There are so many things going on in these books all at once, and I honestly can't get enough.

I do wish that their were some more kickass girls in these books though. So far it's like only the boys get the super awesome powers. I also hope that Sam isn't as overwhelmed in the future. Dude needs a day off lol. It got a little old with him pretty much shouldering every burden in the FAYZ and internally struggling with it all throughout the whole book. It's WAY too much for any one person to be doing, especially a 15 year old boy. Do like the Beatles people and "come together"!! I can't wait to see what happens next in the FAYZ....these kids are CRAZY!!

Jennifer Estep has done it, yet again! Crimson Frost was a great addition to the Mythos Academy series. I really enjoy this series, it never really surprises me, the plot is usually fairly predictable, but I enjoy the whole story nevertheless. This book was no exception, it had all the people and things that I have come to love about this series ,front and center.

I need to just put this out there....poor Gwen, that girl can't seem to have even a day of happiness and peace anymore! She couldn't even get through her first date with Logan without drama. I do wish that her and Logan would have had some more time to enjoy being together. Things between them have always been keeping them distracted and apart, and I was bummed that this book seemed to keep up with that theme. I am still rooting for them!!! I just hope that things work out for them soon.

I really liked how amazing all Gwen's friends, and Logan were throughout her being railroaded by the protectorate. Gwen is such a loveable heroine, she's everything you want in a strong female lead, she's funny, smart, noble and so much more. It was so sad to see so many people rally against her in this book. The ending was equally heartbreaking. This girl just can't catch a break!! But as always I enjoyed this journey and I am really looking forward to see what comes next!

I really don't know how I felt about this book! It was super hard to rate. I went with 3 stars because there were things that I really liked and also things I really disliked, so I guess it ended up being in the middle.

I enjoyed the whole supernatural aspect of this book. The Directorate was a neat concept, they were kind of like a supernatural version of the CIA. I also thought trying to clone these different supernatural beings, or meld their DNA to make superior races, was a super interesting plot. I am curious to see how those things progress in the next book.

All that bring said, there were quite a few things that bothered me about Full Moon Rising as well. I found it rather annoying to constantly have the fact that a few of the guys in this book were multibillionaires or millionaires, thrown in my face REPEATEDLY!!! Seriously, I fully understood that by the 2nd time you said, saying it 15 more times was just excessive! Also Quinn's blatant racism towards werewolves was kind of ridiculous. I understand that a werewolf broke your, and your buddy's hearts, but condemning the whole races because of a few people's actions is absolutely ludicrous! Lastly, Riley's sex obsession was out of control. I really hope that tames down a little in future books. Even dogs in heat get tired Riley!!

There are definitely things I hope get better as the series progresses, but I did enjoy quite a few elements in this book. I will giving the next one a try and see where the story goes.

I had no clue going into this book that it was a spin off of the Riley Jenson series. Had I known that little tidbit, I would have waited to read this until I was further in the other series. I have only read one Riley Jenson book, and this book clearly took place many books after the first. And while Risa was clearly the main character in this book, Riley and other key players were definitely involved in this book too. I learned a lot about what Riley's future looks like, without really taking the fun filled journey there, and that was a little disappointing.

Other than that though, this book was pretty interesting, the Aedh and the Reapers were all very captivating characters. I do look forward to learning more about all of them as the series progresses. Risa was a pretty cool character, she seemed kind of like a more toned down version of Riley though, just with some different powers. Now Azriel....he is someone I CAN'T WAIT to get more of! He is so damn mysterious, in all the best ways. Tao and Ilianna were both some great side characters, with some intriguing powers.

All in all this was an enjoyable read and once I get further in the Riley Jenson books, I will come back to read some more of these Dark Angel books.

This is just the first chapter of Reaper's Property, but told from Horse's point of view rather than Marie's. It's super short, but you will never hear me complain about getting more Horse! I also loved that the author has posted this free on her website! I can't wait to read whatever is next in the Reapers MC!!

Reaper's Property was, in a word...hardcore. It definitely had the feel of being in an episode of Sons of Anarchy, which being such an enthusiast of the show, I absolutely loved. Most of the sex scenes in this book were super graphic and pretty wild. I was definitely blushing quite frequently while reading it.

Horse was pretty amazing, a dick most of the time for sure, but still pretty hot. I don't know what that says about me, but I still liked him. Marie wasn't bad either, she was a pretty strong woman, which I guess to be hanging out with some badass bikers, you would have to be. I know quite a few reviewers found her to be stupid, I didn't think that at all, I think she was just very naive, especially when it came the way things happen in an MC. Which honestly, I think is pretty realistic, they say it in the book a bunch of times, they are like their own world, with separate rules and ways of life. I think it would be a learning experience for most women. Maybe even more so for someone like Marie, who married right out of high school, and from the sounds of it, that husband of hers probably kept her pretty secluded. I really liked that she didn't let much bring her down, she dealt with some pretty horrible stuff and really took it all in stride and just tried to make the best of the situation. Her brother Jeff was the smartest, dumb person that I have seen in awhile. He definitely kept things interesting! The only two bikers, besides Horse, that really seemed to make an impression were Picnic and Max. I'm sure this goes without saying, but Max was a total douche! Picnic seemed like a pretty decent guy at heart. I would love to read a book with him as the lead! Or Em is daughter! Man you really had to feel bad for that girl, I couldn't even begin to imagine growing up and becoming a woman with your dad being the President of an MC.

I really hope this is only the beginning to a pretty kick ass series. I will definitely be looking for a second book to come out!

Well I'm left with pretty much the same feelings I had about the first book. I still enjoyed the storyline, the whole mystery behind the clones and this supernatural crime syndicate is very interesting. But some of these characters and the stuff they do blows my mind, and not really in a good way.

I generally like Riley, but sometimes she does some really stupid things. I get that she's a werewolf and she "needs" sex frequently, but some of this stuff is just plain ridiculous. When you are running away from bad guys who want to kill you, it's seriously not the time to have sex with a stranger. Some of these sexual situations she gets in are just way over the top. I'm not a prude by any means, I just find some if this stuff out of control.

Then there is Quinn. At this point I am lost as to why anyone even likes this tool. I might have been able to only slightly baulk at the rampant racism spewing out of Quinn's mouth in the first book, he's actually getting worse in this book. Now he has to have Riley and basically possess her entirely, and dictate her life. He's kind of a haughty ass, he thinks he's so much better than everyone, especially Riley, which begs the question....why do you even want to be with her???!!!! And now he's talking about forcing her to do things against her will, what a douche! The more I read about him the more of an ass he becomes! I really thought that he would redeem himself a little in this book, but it's not even close to happening at this point.

I will most likely give the third book a try, in hopes that some of these things improve. It's so frustrating because I think there is a pretty great story here, I just wish that some of these characters severe faults weren't overshadowing it.
