While I do love the Sinners on Tour series, and I did enjoy Hot Ticket, I have to say it was my least favorite book in this series so far. Maybe that's because even though I get the concept of dealing with intense emotional pain through a physical pain outlet, I just have trouble relating and truly understanding it. Also, I did feel like this book could really drag on at certain parts.

I did like Jace and Aggie, but I just didn't love them. Aggie's only real unique and completely defining quality was that she was a dominatrix. Nothing else about her personality really stood out, honestly she was a little bland. Jace was interesting and I did enjoy his story, but about 60% through I was like praying that he would have a breakthrough or something. The same repetitive behavior, where he would hang his head and look at the floor, or mot show Aggie affection out of the bedroom, and keep everyone out was pretty much endless. I just wish I would have seen more of the more open Jace. I'm sure I'll get a few glimpses in the future Sinner's books, and I look forward to that!

As always the Sinners were entertaining and I can't wait to read the next installment!!!

Well this was my first Sarah Dessen novel, and I was impressed. It wasn't really what I was expecting, but in a good way. I figured the young love would dominate this book, but that's not what happened here. The Truth About Forever was really centered around grief, and how each individual person deals with things in their own way, and it was about moving forward and growing up. I loved all of this!

Having lost a parent at a young age as well, I could definitely related to some of the things that Macy and her family were going through. I thought Sarah Dessen did an incredible job portraying how potent and unique each persons grief can be.

The characters were fantastic as well, I absolutely adored everyone at Wish. Well everyone but monotone lol. She really didn't have a whole lot going on, but that's ok. They were all pretty eccentric, in all the best ways, and exactly what poor Macy needed.

I will definitely be looking for more of Sarah Dessen's novels in the future!

Well since I have already read Sins and Needles, I already knew the basics of what happened between Ellie and Javier. But On Every Street gave a detailed account of the events, and I really enjoyed it! I was honestly a little surprised by Ellie in this book. She seemed a whole lot more innocent in this book than she did in Sins and Needles. I mean as innocent as a girl hell bent on revenge can seem lol. I really did like seeing Javier and Ellie's story from the beginning. Now I just want more!!!! When does book 2 come out?!!?! I need it!!!

Well that was crazy. Like a lot of different types of crazy, all rolled up into one little book. I don't know what to think about it all right now, there were a few things I found absolutely ridiculous, like the insta love with Kane. That whole situation didn't even make sense to me. A lot of the "Wow!" moments I already saw coming, but were still depressing none the less.

I did find the story of Jay finding happiness again, and dealing with her "skeletons in the closet"
I am honestly kind of surprised to see that this got so many really high ratings. I found it rather difficult to really get invested in most of these characters because they didn't really have any substance. All the guys were just madly in love with Jay, and the few friends that made an appearance, I felt like they were just there to show another thing Jay lost. I really didn't learn anything about anyone, except for Jay, of course.

This book ended with a cliffhanger, so I am admittedly curious what happens next. I really hate leaving things unfinished, I make a few exceptions with things I literally can't suffer through any longer. But I don't feel like this book was at that point. It was the first book in what looks like a trilogy, so I would be willing to give book 2 a try. I just hope the other characters are a little better developed.

I really love this series so far!!! I love the idea of dwellers and savages, and how vastly different their lives and environments are. Seriously there are so many elements to these books to keep you completely engulfed.

Now as much as I love the story, I equally adore these characters! Aria is amazing. She is a pillar of strength throughout this book. She never shies from a challenge, or takes the easy way out. She gives all of herself for the people she holds dear. Oh, and Perry was great too. I felt like we got see a different side of Perry in this book though. While he was still the strong intense guy from the previous book, I also liked that we saw some of the youthful arrogance fade a little. All I keep thinking is "Heavy is the head that wears the crown". Perry is in a position now where his people's needs come before his own, and I think he's starting to realize just how much pressure that can be. I thought it was great for him, maybe a little humbling, which could in the long run make him an incredible leader.

Let's not forget about Roar and Liv too. I have enjoyed Roar from the first minute, and I'm certain I will continue to do so until the very last. I was so happy to finally have Liv present, after hearing about her in Under the Never Sky, and lets be real....any girl who has a guy like Roar enthralled must be nothing short of amazing. It was hard not sympathize with her situation. She really is a lot like her brother, Perry. It was great to see more of the other characters too, namely Cinder, Marron, Talon, etc.

I just hope it all works out in the end for all these loveable characters. I am so bummed I have to wait until 2014 to read the next book!!!!! That's torture!!!

Yes!!! Finally, this book gave me exactly what I had been craving from this series, more action!! Not that the previous books lacked this, but it was always second to Riley's ramped up libido. The crazy sexual situations were still present in this book, which is great, I like that too, but the actual story line was first and foremost which I loved! I am so hoping the next book is more at this pace, if it is I could quickly come to love this series!

I did enjoy this book, but it did feel kind of like more of the same. No questions have really been answered and I didn't feel as if the story progressed. Don't get me wrong, a bunch of crazy stuff happened, but I feel like we are basically right back where we were at the end of the last book, plus and minus a people. I will definitely be reading the next book, I just hope that there is some heavy plot development in it!

Wow. Another amazing book in the Demon Cycle series. Where the Warded Man told the journey of some of my favorite heroes, Lessha, Arlen and Rojer, The Desert Spear told the story of some of the other characters that were mentioned in the first book, mainly Jardir, and the Krasians. Thankfully all the other characters that I have come to love were still here with new trials to bear.

It was a different experience this time around reading about someone whom I considered a "bad guy" after the first book. But I have to say, while I HATE some of the Krasian's culture, learning about it has definitely shed a different light on how I looked at Jardir. After everything I have read of his life, it's hard to say everything is as black and white as good or evil. We have entered into some very murky grey areas now. I think I am seeing a common thing going on here now though. People whose actions or beliefs that are super brash or disturbing, like Jardir, or Elona, have come to bring other things that you can also respect. It has surprised me every time so far. I take their actions that I find unspeakable and judge them harshly, but then comes Mr. Brett showing a different side to these people. I guess it's the same in life though really. And going with this theme I'm sure Inevera's story will come soon enough, because as of now I think she is horrible. I'm on to you know Mr. Brett, I'll at least see this one coming!

I love the direction this series is going, I really don't know what might happen next! It's nice to see people rising up and fighting the night so much more in this book than in the previous one. Bravery is catching and it's only making things more exciting. These books are pretty hefty reads, but the author puts so much time into completely developing this incredible world and all the characters inside of it, and I am thankful for it! I truly can't wait to see where this story goes next! Especially after that whopper of a last line!!! I was not expecting that....at all.

Ok this might sound odd, but it wasn't really the romance that made me like this book. It was the characters. It was so easy for me to relate to the plight of a single mother struggling to get by.

Denise's story, at least in part was one that I could sympathize with. While my child never had any of learning disabilities that Kyle did, I still struggled with being a single mother of a young child trying to juggle being a mom and support our family on my own. It was one of the hardest and also most fulfilling times in my life. Denise's journey through raising her son and then starting to date as well was something that was so familiar to me that I couldn't help but be invested in her story. I loved her, and Kyle. I mean seriously, Kyle was adorable. Judy, Mitch and Melissa were also equally as loveable. I loved the way that Mitch and Melissa interacted with each other, it was so similar to how my guy and I are, lots of joking and lightheartedness.

Taylor was a little bit different for me. I loved how he was with Kyle, and initially how he was with Denise. And while I understand that he was struggling with his demons and all that, the more he started pulling away from Denise and her son, and the more I noticed how he really kept everyone at arms length, the more I in turn pulled away from him. And while the end was heartwarming and I was happy, I still couldn't look at him the same. Maybe that's because you really didn't get to see the real Taylor until all was lost at the end.

Oh and that ending was something. Again, it wasn't the romantic ending that tugged at my heart strings, it was the happening between Kyle and Denise, that did me in. I read through that part with tears in my eyes, it was beautiful and perfect. So while I found the romance to just be pretty much alright, I loved the family dynamic going on here. It was a sweet read and I will definitely be checking out more of Nicholas Sparks books in the future.

Plague was fantastic! After being a little underwhelmed with the previous book, Lies, this was just what I needed. I know I have said this before, but I can't say it enough, Michael Grant has such an incredible imagination. And let me tell you, it was dark and gruesome in this book, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

There were truly multiple horrors to be feared in this book. As if the fear of starvation, entrapment, violence, and now also dehydration aren't enough, these poor kids get hit with this terrible plague that has you literally coughing up a lung. Then just because Michael Grant is that amazingly twisted, throw in there the grotesque worms that eat you from the inside out. Those things are a true nightmare!!! And no gruesome detail was shied away from here. He literally brought these monsters to life!

I was honestly relieved with some of Sam's acting out in this book. He is only 15 after all. It was nice to see him at least act a little selfishly and pout. No 15 year old is as noble and selfless as he was previously being portrayed. His slight shortcomings just made him more likeable and realistic to me. I also loved the ending of this book. I feel like Sam may have finally found a position he will flourish and be more comfortable in.

I swear with each book I finish in this series I come to like Astrid less and less. I couldn't stand her in this book. I really don't even know what Sam sees in her anymore. He admittedly says that he finds her insufferable a lot of the time. I hope he moves on at this point. I thought Lana was hilarious in this book! She's definitely a mega bitch, but I think Samjit might bring her around a little in the coming books. I really like Samjit and Virtue, I just hope to see more of them in the future.

Now on to Caine and Diana. Caine was pretty much his douschey self in this book too. I did like the progression of his relationship with Diana though. Diana was a little surprising in this book, I think that she no longer wants the same things that Caine does. I feel like a lot of her actions in this book were her trying to change Caine. I was not in the least surprised when Caine ultimately made a decision that was more beneficial to him and his true primary desires. I was however pretty shocked with Diana's decision at the end of this book, as well as her "condition". That I'm sure will be very interesting in the future, as will be Caine's reaction to it all!

I really think the ending to this book was my favorite one yet from this series! So many things are starting to come to light here, and at the same time so many new questions are being raised. None maybe more important than what is happening with Little Pete?! He is such a mystery, maybe the biggest most important one in these books! I can't wait to see where things go from here! If the next few books can carry on with this momentum this will quickly become a favorite series for me!!!
