The topics were different than expected, but interesting. 

I loved this series and found the family and all the dynamics to be really lovely to see. I'm glad that the

father did start to actually reflect on his views and how they might affect the people around him,

though I wish it has been happening more throughout the series rather than pushed at the end. I also am sorta glad that

it didn't end with a big coming out.

I think it would have felt cheesy and forced since Hiroki

isn't ready to tell anyone he is gay. He's a kid and wants to take his time and that's okay. I am just glad that when he does finally tell his family, that they will be there for him!

I love the development in this volume, as Daigo gets a girfriend and Hiroki realizes his crush isn't requited, that doesn't mean their relationship has to end completely! Also loved seeing Yuri realize things about himself as well, knowing he has such a supportive mom!

I hoped that the next volume would bring more of Tomoko openly pushing back on her husband's views.

Lovely illustrations and cute story!

The short stories were varying degrees of funny. 

Tomoko is such a thoughtful and caring person! 

Such a fun book. Wells quickly endears you to Murderbot as they try their best to keep these fragile and reckless humans alive. Plus a fun mystery and lots of action!

Honestly one of my favourite books ever. The style and writing alternately feel like your being hit by a bus or someone gentle stroking your hand. Heartbreaking, but still hopeful.

Gorgeous artwork used to retell a Breton folk tale. I am not familiar with this story, so I can't speak to how well it captured it, but I did enjoy this story. Very eerie and magical.
