Honestly, the way it was written left me a little confused on who was the person who met the owner. Honestly not my favorite story of Murakami’s and left me confused on why it warranted it own separate volume.

Lovely illustrations and Clarke’s magical style combined perfectly into this slim volume. I honestly wanted more, and I’m glad I got this from the library.

I really enjoyed the writing of the story, with several moving passages that made me cry. The story itself made me ache with sorrow for Polly and everyone else.
When she finally got back to Buffalo, they way she described how changed the city was really struck me. How being so far from a place could made it shift.
