I was forced to read this book for uni. It's not my usual read so that's part of why it's rated so low. The vernacular in the book was also one of the reasons that made the read so difficult.

I find Nynaeve annoying. HOWEVER, I need to see her throw hands more! She punched the snot out of Liandrin. When I say I burst out laughing... I was heaving for breath.
And Mat. Mattie Mat. I try so hard to like you, to sympathise with you. But come on man. You grew up with these guys, why are you always trying to ditch them? Just be the good, brave person I know you to be. And yes I hate the way they treat you as less than the other Emmond's Fielders .
All in all I liked the book. It was a fun read.
