Wayne's funny wit was enough for me to love this book. It's fun to be back in this world and see how the civilisation has developed since the end of Era 1. I'm really looking for to the rest of Era 2.

I'm tried. I really, really tried. It just feels so wordy. "Yes. By all means move at a glacial pace. You know how much I like that." I'll probably end up finishing the other half of it at some other point.

It was good. Not great, though. While being incredibly battle savvy I find the MC somewhat annoying. The fan service also feels a bit much.
