Not my thing. 

Their one personality trait defines their entire existence and station in their society? It's just not doing it for me. Like there's just one thing missing for me, making find it a snooze fest. 

The Book just never really took off. Lila only joins him at like halfway through the book. The continuous motion of explaining traveling through the Londons and so few actual traveling. The fight scenes were also quite poor. I kept reading for the mystery about his memories but the book's pacing is just poor. 

It was good in the beginning but I just got bored of it. The premise is nice and very lord of the rings like and easier to read than lord of the rings but I just can't continue. 

The writing is rather dull. The book takes heavy inspiration from the age old farm boys got to fight the darkness but lacks that individual spark to it that sets it apart like other stories. 

Just not clicking. 

The pace is too slow. I loved the other three books. But maybe it's because I know redrought is just going to die in the first book. 

Just didn't find it interesting.
