Omg, they finally talked!
This one was a rather short volume, with pretty much just 2 conversations being the plot. The first one between Konatsu and Koyuki, and then the second one with the dads. Also kind of the talk between Konatsu's dad and his sister.
All of the conversations, especially the first one, were necessary to the plot, but it did feel a little empty... I'm more afraid of what's gonna happen in the next volume, since this issue doesn't feel like it's completely over.

So glad they could finally hang out all together!
And Konatsu noticed the frog plush. <3
It was also nice learning about Kaede's past, albeit it was rather emotional.
It's cool how she wants to make up for it by being like a sister to Fuyuki, kind of, although maybe she should tell him straght forward that he's more like a brother to her. That poor boy will only fall for her more... :')
Tbh who wouldn't fall for Kaede, when she's helping out everyone. She got the two together again and is a bit of a replacement for Koyuki, when she's off at cram school and Fuyuki is feeling lonely. It's a win-win though, because Kaede also misses her siblings, so having a little brother around does help.

I love how this manga series shows how much a person can mean to you, even after meeting for the first time and not knowing anything about each other. Even after having only talked once, or perhaps not even that much, maybe your eyes only have met, and now you want to know everything about that person.
Not only that, it shows that this feeling often is mutual. Yet we don’t talk about it because society raised us to think that talking about our deep feelings is embarrassing and selfish and kinda creepy. Which is sad honestly.
Looking back, what do you think how many deep friendships would you have had, if you were more honest with people? If you just told them how you felt?
This manga really did a great job in showing the insecurities of each person, when it comes to relationships like these. I love how slow-paced each volume is, making it very realistic.
Perhaps not even that realistic, because nowadays it’s rare to actually get this close. Most of the time, people just accept that their feelings are one-sided, thinking they can read someone else so well, that there’s not even a point in asking how they feel.
More often than not, feelings are more mutual than we think.

While this manga series wasn't typically Yuri, as in sexual or explicitly romantic, it was a love story and therefore I don't find the GL tag clickbait at all. It's more of a deep platonic relationship, like a QPR, but that still is love.
Besides, I did read somewhere that sometimes "Yuri" is also referred to a very close friendship between girls and doesn't have to be romantic per-se, after all.
Also, I totally didn't mind. Their friendship was just as intense as a typical romance story would have been, so I don't see the problem. Sure, there wasn't a kiss, but I don't think it was needed. Them learning to communicate and coming in terms with their feelings and their true selves was much more important than any physical stuff.
So I'm very glad that books like these still exist and not every author falls into the pressure of doing fan-service, just so their manga will do better on the market. Thanks Makoto Hagino for such a wonderful series!
I really hope this will get an anime someday because this would be exactly what our society needs to watch, in times like these.

I love how chill it is, even though it's about figuring out their future. Usually it's like "omg I've graduated now I need to find a job asap or I'll end up being homeless". Fair enough, it isn't set right after their graduation and they did have a job. Nevertheless, it isn't stressful.
As someone who's also still figuring out what I want to do for a living, it's cool to have a story that is more chill.
I also really love how chill they are with their relationship. Not sure whether or not the protagonist already knew before that they are gay, but it's nice to have characters that don't freak out after having kissed the same gender. And especially how normal it's kept.
I'm a bit thrown off at how chill they are – one night-stand only and they're kinda living together already? Dunno, maybe that's a normal thing, but I've never read about that (usually there's a whole drama whether the characters are ready to move in together).
Yea, it's a chill read, with a chill story and chill characters.

Well, a bit more dramatic, but still rather chill.
I'm enjoying all the music stuff, as some of what's mentioned and shown I've never known before. And what goes into all the business and planning. Actually pretty interesting and makes me want to go a to a club, after all. (Yes, I've never been to a club or a disco or any other night-party stuff.) I think I'd like to even try out VJ-ing myself.
Also, not sure I've mentioned this in my previous review, but I really like the art-style. It's rather "simple", compared to other mangas, but fits the story and characters really well.

The main "event" of this volume was rather unnecessary. I feel like the author only put this in because he wanted to have more excitement, but in my opinion, that totally backfired. I didn't mind the chillness of the other two volumes at all, quite the opposite, so having this suddenly dramatic and "exciting" plot felt off. Not only was it unnecessary but also a bit toxic.
Up until now, they're relationship was realistically mature, but this event totally threw them off the track... Good for them to resolving it, but it's a meh for me. It really wasn't needed to turn the table this much, to get the path the author had planned for the characters, especially the protagonist.
Also, is it just me or did the drawing style slightly change? Not sure, but it seemed more detailed and more "serious", if you can say that. Kinda to match the vibe of the story more.
Isn't necessarily a bad thing; the details were amazing. But I did like the "simpleness" of the drawing style more.

Pretty similar to Noragami (which I've only seen the anime of), in both the lore and character types. Well, except the protagonist didn't turn into a half-ghost, but she is now able to see supernatural creatures easier and all that. The setting is different though and also the ages of the characters, I think (they're younger here).
I don't really like the romance parts, but I do really love the supernatural things/lore. And the art. Not gonna lie, the artstyle of the anime and the manga covers (colored pages) were the main reason why I wanted to check this series out.
Even though it's a very popular series, I've never really heard much about the plot, so I didn't really know what I was getting into here. But it's okay. A bit boring at times, but as said, the supernatural beings are my cup of tea.
I would rate this higher, but I really hate how sexist it is and how much it sexualizes girls. Not surprised about that, of course, but it's very annoying to read through that sometimes. Especially when the character itself sexualizes themselves.
Series like these have so much fan-service, without needing it to be. Plot- and lore-wise, it wouldn't change a thing, except make it more enjoyable, when you remove the fan-service and the sexism.
It's also hard to ship anyone when everyone's just being a perv.
The Mokkes might be fr the only reason why I'll continue reading. Too cute.

It's amazing!
I love Eve. <3
A very original concept; Kokoro sees two strangers/women together, sketches their love story from her imagination and then we get a POV of their actual lives.
So it's basically like a Yuri anthology, while going back to the first story after every short. (Imagine you're watching a show on TV and get interrupted by ads every now and then – the ads being the short stories and the show being Kokoro's story.) And all of the stories are interesting! I'm surprised some of them don't have their own manga series.
Also, Kokoro's lesbian radar definitely is strong – at least one woman from the pair always turned out to be lesbian/into women (in their RL).

I do generally like "what if" story arcs, but at first it seemed that it was only gonna be about Hanako-kun being alive and Nene's classmate. Don't really care about them; it was more of an eye-roll. I don't ship them and don't get how anyone can, so having a whole volume just them dating basically wasn‘t sth I was very eager to get through.
However, as Mitsuba also seemed to be in this world, which made Kou happy, that was more in my interest. I love their friendship so much and it's so great seeing him again.
Although I'm not sure what to think about
I do like the new school mystery – the girl from the art room. As an artist myself, it would definitely be a dream living in this world. You can just make your paintings and drawings become real... Just one swipe and you hold your creations in your hands... *-*
Also, I like how it's kind of breaking the 4th wall with characters questioning things like "we're inside a picture?".

him knowing sth about this fake world. Kinda sus. And Tsukasa too knows...? Well, of course he does... I had disliked Hanako-kun before this story arc, but now I just hate him. How tf can Nene like this jerk.
I did love the scenes with Kou and Mitsuba though, as much as I hate that. But if it did do something and Kou & Mirror-Mitsuba will be friends now, even after going back to the real world, I guess it was worth it.
And also, the "magic paintbrush" trying to help them was pretty cool. I'm guessing it's Sakura and Natsuhiko waving the brush, but not sure.
