Well, now that was a bit more interesting. (I'm referring to Mei's backstory. Every other scenes with Hanako and Tsukasa were just annoying.)

I also hate how Mei's and Hanako's wish got compared, because they totally aren't the same. Wanting to save yourself and wanting to save someone else (by making the decision for themselves and not telling the other person about it) is a different thing. Mei at least wants something good, but Hanako is just being a selfish and arrogant jerk.
I loved it when Nene exploded in the first chapter and really got angry at Hanako. Finally some sense got into that girl.

1) The romance between Hanako and Nene is lowkey disgusting.

2) The fight between Kou and Hanoko on the roof was really annoying.

3) It would be nice if there was more plot (the main plot, not the short stories in between), not just saving Nene. It's so boring because you know how it'll end. At least there should be another aim of the story, other than getting rid of Tsukasa (although not even sure if that's what they're aiming for, but I do hope so. Both of the twins should get rid tho; that'd be an awesome resolution, wouldn't it.)

4) Teru is a jerk too. Even worse than Hanako. He might mean good but they way he's lowkey bullying Akane, really ain't fun. I know it's supposed to some kinda comedic relief and it's "just" boys messing around, but still. Not fun.

4.2) Akane's obsession over Aoi also is very toxic, but Aoi isn't any better honestly.

4.3) Akane needs to stop with his obsession, Teru shouldn't abuse his feelings and use it for his own (seriously, that competition was bad), and Aoi needs to as well stop playing with everyone's feelings.

5) I'm not that fond of Mirror-Mitsuba (he's pretty annoying) as I was of Mitsuba, but I do hope he'll get his wish fulfilled, in some way. I mean, if Tsuchigomori can be a school mystery and a teacher at the same time, blending in with humans, surely Mirror-Mitsuba should be able to as well, right?

10) I will miss Paintbrush-chan, ngl. One of the best characters fr. Perhaps even the best because this series doesn't have high standards when it comes to characters.

1) Oho~!! Akane threatening Hanako and using certain methods to make him appear, was the absolute best!!! You go, boy~!!

2) Death's boundary is so beautiful, wth! T_T

3) Well, the elevator and the pit scene (shortly after she threw them in there) might be the only times where I loved Akane's obsession over Aoi. Really came in handy.

4) When Aoi said, "I'm glad no. 7 sama fell...", I couldn't agree more.

5) I knew there was something up with Aoi. I had mentioned that Aoi could be the one who's messing with the rumors in my review of volume 3, and obviously have thrown away the thought after the actual characters, who were broadcasting the new rumors, were revealed. However, it seems I was right about her vibe, I guess. Didn't think it would be that extreme tho.

1) I like Sumire.

2) Woah, Nene; did her brain capacity increase after drinking Sumire's memories? Not that she was stupid before, but damn, the way she figured it all out...

3) Also, damn, I didn't think Aoi's story was that deep. Like, tbh, she really felt like that type of girl that enjoys being popular.
Or the author only decided this plot-route later on...
Either way, her calling out Akane was the best.

7) But hey, one a good note, Nene's "fat" ankles haven't been mentioned at all in this volume. Probably the first 5 chapters in the whole series, that don't have that.

8) And the first time I actually liked Teru. Especially in the bonus chapters (except the one with Akane, although, then again, that guy totally deserved it...).

1) "Well... we were never gonna get rid of those guys so easily, huh." ~ Akane and exactly my disappointment too.
Although it was obvious from the moment Hanako disappeared, that it wasn't forever and he was gonna come back. And as much I missed the other supernaturals, especially the Mokke, and wouldn't want them to be gone forever, it was pretty nice without Hanako (and his brother too).

2) Seeing Kou cooking and doing the housework is so cool~ especially considering how sexist this series is at times, it's a nice change~

3) "There is a way for a human to become a supernatural"? Is this how it's gonna end? Nene ends up as a supernatural, so that she can be with hanako forever? 1-1

3.5) Or is it what Kou wants, to be with Mirror-Mitsuba?

4) Kou visiting Mitsuba's home and his mother telling about his past was sad, ngl. Even though Mitsuba's annoying with his nicknames and arrogance, I just low how deeply Kou cares about him.

5) But, damn, the haunted house was creepy af... The first time I actually got scared while reading this series (especially those jump-scares, man, wtf).

1) Why is that house so creepy T-T

2) Seeing Kou having to face and say no to all of his wishes appearing in front of him, really was heartbreaking.

3) Tsukasa and Amane as little kids were so cute tho!!

4) But damn, the twins' backstory is pretty sad... and horrifying...

5) Kinda amazing how I went from disliking/kinda hating Teru in, like, the first 10 volumes, but now like him actually. Well, I guess seeing someone be normal, have an actual personality and failing sometimes, does make them more like-able.

6) So, what is Teru's dream...?
Maybe he should go into that house and then we'll see for ourselves...

7) That new addition to the world-building was nice.

So that's where the Kannagi go after death... kinda makes sense the place'd be connected to the "wish-house"... or rather, to the person's home, who's able to grant wishes and where it all started.

8) What was Mitsuba's wish tho...?

He went to the house, maybe was lured in like Kou and Nene, and then seeing his wish came true, he stayed there, which eventually killed him.
But what was what he longed for? Just to have friends? Surely that would be sus, going to a strange house and suddenly you have friends, right.

(I hope his death hasn't been revealed yet, bc that'd be a bit embarrassing.)

1) Well, damn. The twins story really is messed up.
After reading the first chapter of the volume (80th), I thought that

the present Tsukasa, is some sort of evil-doppelganger. But it turns out, he’s just a psycho, who loves Amane so much, he’d gladly be killed by him...

But why would Amane kill Tsukasa, if

he isn't an evil doppelganger? If he were, it would be logical why their mother also said that he's not her son. Maybe Tsukasa forced him?

If you think about it, it’s actually Kou’s fault for the whole thing. If he hadn’t told child-Tsukasa about what Amane will do, Tsukasa wouldn’t have gone back, so Amane wouldn’t have killed him and probably also wouldn’t have died at 13. As well as not becoming a ghost.
Who knows, maybe he still would’ve died but likely not become a school mystery, right?
So it’s Kou’s fault for the romance between Amane and Nene.

Omg I loved the cameos in the sushi chapter!

I really liked the chapter with the girl who “can see into the future”! This should be made into a whole series; the two are so cute and it would have nice messages in it.

Why are there no reviews for this? The anime's pretty popular actually...

I haven't watched the anime yet, but I've seen some clips and AMVs. All I knew about the plot really, was that they kiss a lot, lol. It's a basic slice of life and school life story, with kissing (2 lesbian couples) and a lot of comedic relief.

It's also the first time I've read a 4-koma-manga. I've read bonus chapters in this style before, but never a whole volume. It's not that much of a difference actually.

Would recommend it, if you're looking for something light-hearted and funny.
