It's a good book but beware a lot of period typical racism, particularly towards the end.

It's very dated and some parts can be hard to get through but MAN is it worth it. It's a book you don't want to put down. Absolutely reccomended of you like classics and horror

I listened to the audiobook and I think that improved the experience for me. O'Ree often talks about others in his experiences too and credits them, which I find very "hockey".

While I don't agree with all of Bregman's stances and conclusions, this book is excellently researched and approaches new philosophies that I think are worth exploring. Everyone should read at least parts of this book.

It's extremely frustrating because this would be a great exploration of mutants in the Krakoa era in the political, business, and international spaces if it weren't for the seemingly racist character assassination of Monet St. Croix. It made me unable to enjoy what was otherwise an intriguing story.
