Loved Dunlap's art style and color schemes. The story looks promising. Some of bb's angst looks like misplaced teen stuff and some of it looks like it comes from her family situation. I like bb and Chulita's camaraderie. Looking forward to the reveals.

I was really impressed by the drawing this issue. It's consistently good, but I thought there were some pretty creative uses of paneling in here. Marinette of the Dry Bones is equal parts scary and sad.

Awww, baby Riri's cute. Silhouette's pretty cool. I should see if she has any solo series. I wonder how Ewing's going to explain this twist, especially because I thought this was a 12 issue limited series.

Wow! This is another one of my favorite issues in this series. That ending! I'm excited to see where this takes the story.

I didn't think rotten eggs could be scary, but Hopkinson managed it. There's some pretty touching scenes in here about mourning. I'm still confused why Djuna's neighbor has a terrier-sized rat as a pet.

In this issue, we get a taste of what happens to younger psiots (basically a Bizarro version of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters). Previous issues showed Livewire's powers on a macro scale, but in this one, we see her on the Internet and inside computers. It ends on a cliffhanger, and I need to know what happens next!

Another action-packed issue. It's funny watching Riri try to interact with people outside her circle. She just seems to butt heads with people a lot. In this case, her and Shuri might be too similar.

I really liked the energy and expressiveness of the illustrations. The mechs also just looked really cool and sleek, I bought the 1st issue on a whim and was sucked in by Genesis and some of the other characters. Seriously considering buying the 2nd issue.

Ananse is a pretty slippery opponent. Very suspenseful issue. Erzulie's power weakens as her supporters forget her. But another incarnation is introduced
