OMG, I devoured this book! Cammie is such a relatable character and you will find yourself cheering her on as she takes a chance on love and steps outside her shell. And Chase will make you swoon! I love the way he loved and accepted Cammie.
This book had me laughing out loud, swooning over Chase, and blushing at the spice. It's the perfect blend of humor, romance, and steamy scenes.
If you loved this, you'll be dying to jump into the Toronto Terror series. It's connected to this one, with some familiar faces popping up, so you're in for a treat.
The duet narration is a MUST. CJ Bloom and Jason Clarke were amazing! The male voice... oh my. I melted. And the female narrator perfectly captured Cammie's personality.
I need more from this series ASAP!
Thank you so much to Helena Hunting and her team for an ARC and ALC of this book. I voluntarily read it and gave an honest review.

Okay, so I stumbled upon this audiobook on Hoopla, and the fact that it was duet narration totally caught my eye. Figured, why not and I'm SO glad I did! It was a quick listen, tons of fun, and definitely spicy.
The plot was super unique. Hannah heads to her family's chalet in the French Alps for some serious rest and relaxation, dreaming of some alone time with her favorite male erotica podcaster, 'Mac N' Please. But surprise- her brother shows up with his roommate, Cameron... who just happens to be the voice of Mac N'Please.
Hannah is instantly smitten, but she's shy and basically fan girling on the inside. The duet narration totally sells it! It was an amazing experience. These narrators were new to me, but Adam Gold's voice was so GOOD! I gotta check out more of his work.
4 stars for story and 5/5 for narration

Holy moly, this audiobook was amazing!
Catherine Cowles is a total queen of romantic suspense, and this book is the perfect example of why. The plot was gripping, and I loved how everything came together in the end. The romance and suspense were perfectly balanced, and Ridley and Colt were so freaking cute together. Their enemies-to-lovers journey was so well-written, and I could practically feel the sparks fly every time they were together.
Andi Arndt and Sebastian York did an incredible job narrating. Andi's voice perfectly captured Ridley's personality, and Sebastian's deep voice was perfect for Colt. I could totally see this as a Netflix series!
If you're looking for a small-town romantic suspense with a sheriff hero and a podcaster heroine, and you enjoy forced proximity tropes, then you absolutely NEED to read this book!
I highly recommend it! I hope to see more of these characters in future books!
This book and audiobook were one of my 2025 anticipated reads, so I want to give a HUGE thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an ALC of this book! I was so excited when I got approved! I voluntarily read it and gave an honest review.

Daddy December is a quick and steamy holiday read with some of my favorite tropes like best friends’ brother and second chance romance. The plot follows Holly and Nick, two characters who were once deeply connected but drifted apart. Now, with a child in the picture, they’re given a second chance at love.
The narrators, Maxine Mitchell and Scott Rose, bring the story to life with their captivating performances. Maxine Mitchell delivers a stellar performance as always. Scott Rose, while new to me, does a fantastic job capturing Nick’s emotions and making him a believable character.
If you’re looking for a quick, sexy, and heartwarming holiday read, Daddy December is a perfect choice.

Kristen Proby’s She’s a Wild One is a heartwarming addition to her The Wilds of Montana series. This fifth and final installment follows Holden and Millie’s love story, a tale of second chances and enduring love.
I was completely captivated by their backstory and the emotional depth of their relationship. Proby masterfully weaves together elements of small-town charm, family rivalry, and the complexities of first love. The journey of rekindling their connection is both tender and intense.
Sebastian York and Grace Grant perform this audiobook in dual narration. They did a fantastic job and I enjoyed every second of this book and totally recommend this on audiobook.
If you're a fan of heartwarming romances with strong characters She’s a Wild One is definitely worth checking out.

My December Darling was a delightful surprise! This was my first time reading Lauren Asher, and I’m already hooked. The story is a cozy, heartwarming tale set during the holiday season.
Luke, the charming and persistent hero, melts hearts with his sweet gestures and unwavering determination. I loved watching him chip away at Catalina's guarded exterior, revealing her soft, vulnerable side.
The audiobook narration by Vanessa Vasquez and Noah B. Parez was a perfect match. Their duet-style performance brought the characters to life, making the listening experience even more enjoyable.

Kristen Proby’s Wildest Dreams is the third installment in her Wilds of Montana series, and it’s a total knockout. I listened to the audiobook, and let me tell you, Maxine Mitchell and Jason Clarke brought the story to life. Their performances were so captivating that I was completely immersed in tthis small town romance.
The story is filled with all the feels—joy, heartbreak, and everything in between. Proby masterfully weaves a tale of love, loss, and the power of family. If you're a fan of small-town romances, found family, and single dad tropes, you'll absolutely adore this book.

Kristen Proby’s On the Wild Side is the latest addition to her Wilds of Montana series, and she knocked it out of the park with this one! This book has everything I love: a single mom on the run, a tragic past, and a slow-burn romance that’s as sweet as it is steamy.
Brady and Abbi’s relationship felt so authentic. I loved how their connection grew naturally, and the way Brady embraced Abbi’s daughter, Daisy, was heartwarming. The found family trope always gets me!
The narration by Zachary Webber and Samantha Brentmoor was spot-on. Their voices brought the characters to life, and I was completely immersed in the story. The mystery element and flashbacks to Abbi’s past added an extra layer of intrigue.
If you’re looking for a cozy, small-town romance with a touch of suspense, On the Wild Side is a must-read (or listen).

I've always been a sucker for a good romantic suspense novel, and Where the Darkness Goes by Kiersten Modglin didn't disappoint. This was my first time reading her work, and I'll definitely check out other books by her.
The story follows Tessa and Garrett, two childhood friends who drifted apart. The dual timeline format gave us more insight into their past and present, and I appreciated the dual POVs that gave us a peek into their thoughts and feelings.
While the romance was sweet and the suspenseful elements kept me guessing, I wished for a bit more thrill. Some of the twists were unexpected, but I craved a deeper dive into the darker side of the story.
That being said, the narration was fantastic. Ellie Gossage and Jay Myers were new to me narrators, but they brought the characters to life and made the listening experience a pleasure.
If you're a fan of romantic suspense or Kiersten Modglin, I highly recommend giving this book a try. It's a delightful blend of love and mystery, perfect for a cozy night in.

Alice Feeney’s Beautiful Ugly is a psychological thriller around a missing person case. The story follows Grady, a struggling author whose wife vanishes mysteriously. As he deals with the trauma of her disappearance, he accepts an offer to retreat to a secluded writing cabin on a remote island.
The novel’s pacing is uneven, with a slow-burn start that picks up considerably in the final quarter. While the initial chapters are slow, the second half delivers a series of jaw-dropping twists that will keep you guessing. However, certain plot elements push the boundaries of believability, which may detract from the overall impact.
The audiobook narration is well-executed, with the narrators using voice modulation and accents to bring the various characters to life. The addition of sound effects further enhances the listening experience.
If you’re a fan of Feeney’s work, Beautiful Ugly is worth giving a try.
