**Audiobook Review**
One Happy Summer is the sixth installment in the Falling For Summer series, offering a standalone romance with a touch of island charm. This lighthearted story follows Presley James, a famous actress hiding from the spotlight, and Briggs Dalton, a local bookstore clerk rebuilding his life.
Presley's viral meltdown sends her to Sunset Harbor, where she unexpectedly crosses paths with Briggs. An unlikely friendship blossoms as Briggs helps Presley experience the carefree summer she's always missed. Their connection is sweet and heartwarming, though perhaps lacking the depth found in other books in the series.
The dual narration by Abigail Reno and Ryan Stone adds to the listening experience, bringing the characters to life with their distinct voices. While One Happy Summer may not be the strongest story in the series, it's still a delightful summer read (or listen) for those seeking a light and enjoyable romance.

K. Bromberg's latest novel has left me on the edge of my seat, demanding the next installment.
The story follows Holden, a man consumed by a childhood trauma that has fueled his desire for revenge against the Rothschild family. His path is filled with deception until he encounters Rowan, a woman who challenges his hardened exterior. Her family has made her feel insignificant, but underneath she is confident and has a mission of her own.
The chemistry between Holden and Rowan is evident, and their passionate encounters are both intense and satisfying. However, beneath the surface lies a complex mix of trust and mistrust, as Rowan struggles to open her heart to Holden.
The plot is well-crafted, with unexpected twists and turns that keep the reader engaged. The ending, however, is a cliffhanger that will leave you craving more. I can't wait to see how this story unfolds in the next book.
I enjoyed the narrators. This was my first audiobook with either narrator but both captured their characters personalities and were able to convey the characters chemistry.

Truth or dare?
I dare you to read this book!
Dakota Wilde's Truth or Dare takes readers on a journey into the minds of two damaged individuals, Hazel and Ace. Their shared past at a troubled boarding school has left them scarred and seeking healing in their own unique ways.
Ace, driven by a relentless obsession with Hazel, has become a stalker, playing dangerous games of truth or dare to manipulate and control her. Despite the obvious danger, Hazel finds herself drawn into his twisted world, drawn in by a strange sense of camaraderie and a shared desire for revenge.
The dual timeline allows readers to piece together Hazel and Ace's traumatic past while witnessing the present-day consequences of their actions. The author skillfully explores themes of trauma, healing, and the complexities of toxic relationships even within a family.
However, it's important to note that Truth or Dare is a dark romance novel. The book contains explicit content, including stalking and violence. Readers should be aware of these trigger warnings before diving in.
Despite its graphic nature, this book is a compelling exploration of the human psyche. Hazel and Ace are flawed characters, but their struggles are undeniably relatable. The author's ability to delve into the depths of their pain and vulnerability makes for an emotionally intense reading experience.

Elizabeth O'Roark's The Summer I First Saw You is a heartwarming addition to her popular The Summer Series. This fifth installment follows Daisy and Harrison as they navigate forbidden love.
Daisy and Harrison, seemingly opposites in every way, find themselves drawn to each other in a captivating and unexpected manner. Despite their differences, their connection is undeniable and raw. O'Roark skillfully portrays the complexities of their relationship, exploring the challenges and joys of a forbidden love that must be kept secret.
One of the things I really enjoy in this book is its dual POV, allowing readers into the minds of both Daisy and Harrison. This perspective provides a deeper understanding of their conflicting emotions and the internal struggles they face. Daisy's bold and free spirit is balanced by her vulnerability, making her a relatable and endearing character. The banter between her and Harrison adds a delightful touch to their interactions.
If you're a fan of age-gap romances, forbidden love stories, or grumpy sunshine pairings, The Summer I First Saw You is a must-read. O'Roark's ability to create compelling characters and captivating narratives shines through in this latest installment of her series.

Ruthless by Hannah Gray is more than just a romance. It takes you on a journey through trauma, healing, and the complexities of love. Briar, who had a traumatic past, defies expectations with her unwavering positivity and kindness. Her strength and resilience are inspiring, making her a truly relatable and admirable female lead. It also explores Hudson's journey of healing as he navigates complex feelings of wanting and desiring Briar.
The arranged marriage trope with the high-stakes world of the mafia creates a unique and intriguing dynamic. This book delivers a plot that is both fast paced and emotionally charged. The development of the relationship between Briar and Hudson, amidst the backdrop of their respective worlds, is a central focus of the story, and the author successfully captures the complexities and passion of their connection. The chemistry between Briar and Hudson is palpable, and their relationship develops through subtle glances, intimate touches, and the gradual building of trust.
Ruthless is a captivating read that will leave readers invested in the characters and eager to see their journey unfold.
Thank you so much to Hannah Gray and Wordsmith Publicity for the ARC of this book! I voluntarily read it and gave an honest review.

This story centers on Autumn and Zane, whose relationship unfolds in a way that's both engaging and heartfelt. Imagine a Hallmark movie with a bit more spice. This book delivers exactly that with a perfect balance of fun, flirtation, and realness.
I love the fall vibes in this book. The characters, both main and supporting, add depth to the story. Autumn and Zane, in particular, have a chemistry that makes their love story compelling and enjoyable.
The book's dual POV is another highlight, offering readers a look into their inner thoughts and their emotional journeys. Zane’s healing process and his connection with his mother are done with sensitivity, adding layers to his character and making his journey both relatable and touching.
Overall, Fall I Want is a fun read that with just the right amount of spice. A big thank you to Lyra Parish, NetGalley and Avon and Harper voyage for the ARC. I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment in this series. This book is definitely worth adding to your reading list.

I was so excited for this spinoff series and for Lee "Sully" Sullivan's story! I really enjoyed the plot and how this story was written. I really felt Sully and Kendra's connection and the surprise pregnancy troupe was done really well. Kendra was a strong, driven, and brave FMC and I loved her. Sully was loving and put Kendra first. I LOVED them together.

Laura Pavlov has once again delivered a captivating gem in her latest installment of the series, solidifying her reputation for crafting deeply emotional and engaging stories. In this latest release, we meet Nash, Emerson, and the lovable Cutler (affectionately known as Beefcake), whose dynamic chemistry creates a narrative that is both heartwarming and enthralling. Pavlov masterfully brings these characters to life, making their connection feel authentic and profoundly touching. The story of Nash and Emerson, in particular, is a beautiful exploration of love and communication.
One of the standout elements of this book is the incorporation of beloved tropes. The “found family” trope, a personal favorite, shines brightly here. The camaraderie and deep bonds among the group of friends and their partners are portrayed with such warmth and sincerity that readers will wish to be a part of Magnolia Falls themselves. This tight-knit circle of friends not only provides heartwarming moments but also a sense of belonging that adds depth to the narrative.
The humor in the text exchanges between the men is another highlight, offering a delightful contrast to the more emotional moments.
The single dad trope is also explored with great sensitivity. Nash’s portrayal as a devoted father is both endearing and inspiring. Pavlov highlighted the highs and lows of parenthood while adding layers to the characters. I loved the scenes involving Emerson and Cutler.
The development of Nash and Emerson’s relationship is handled beautifully. Nash’s role as a communicative and honest partner creates a foundation for their romance that feels both realistic and aspirational.
As a reader, it’s impossible not to be enchanted by Magnolia Falls. Pavlov’s world-building invites you into a place where you feel at home, eager to see more of the side characters and the future of Rosewood River.
A heartfelt thank you to Laura Pavlov and Valentine PR for the ARC of this book. It was a privilege to read and review this incredible addition to the series. This book a must-read for fans and newcomers alike.

***book and audiobook review***
From the moment I picked up Delicate Escape, I was hooked. Catherine Cowles has crafted a story so compelling that I found myself reading late into the night, unable to put it down until I reached the final page. I was so engaged in Shep and Thea's captivating journey, and it was well worth the sleepless night.
Thea and Sheps love story is an emotional rollercoaster, and Cowles' exceptional storytelling shines through in every chapter. Shep and Thea's story is raw, has genuine emotion, and Cowles' ability to create relatable and deeply connective characters is truly remarkable. Thea was a great female main character. Her strength and courage in confronting her past and her journey toward healing are both moving and inspiring. Shep embodies patience and understanding, providing a protective and thoughtful presence that complements Thea beautifully. Their relationship is a testament to what true partnership and support look like—making them "couple goals."
Cowles' flair for romantic suspense is unparalleled, and it’s no surprise why this genre is my favorite. The mystery woven throughout the story adds an extra layer of intrigue, and Cowles’ knack for surprising twists ensures that I’m always kept guessing. Even when I think I’ve figured out the plot, Cowles manages to surprise me every time, making her stories a delightfully unpredictable experience.
Listening to the audiobook enhanced my enjoyment of the story. Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon deliver an exceptional dual narration, perfectly capturing the emotional depth and chemistry between the characters. Their performance brought the story to life in a way that was very engaging.
Delicate Escape is a testament to Catherine Cowles' storytelling brilliance. With its emotional depth, engaging plot twists, and a heartwarming depiction of love and found family, this book is a must-read. I highly recommend it both in print and audio formats. A special thank you to Catherine Cowles and her team for providing an ARC and ALC of this book. This review reflects my honest opinion and enthusiasm for this amazing read.
