This book was better than the first, and I liked seeing Eadlayn's development.

I wish we got to see more buildup between Eikko and Eadalyn, but they were still cute and I liked them. I also liked how they're making the country a democracy. I was surprised by how quickly Henri was able to accept them, and would love to read a story just about him and how he feels. I also feel like there were questions left unanswered, like were Madrid's parents also involved in his schemes. I would have liked more closure.
