SpoilerIT ENDS ON A CLIFFHANGER!

Fuck. All along from like 80% on I was like... how is this going to end in 20%, how are all of these things going to happen in order for me to be happy with the result?

It doesn't. It was 2am and I finished it and DAMN IT, I did not have the energy to find the second and download it before falling asleep.

I am hooked on Hayden and Callie. Trying not to compare to other books similar to this one, I really really think the plot is tense and makes me not want to put the book down. They are addicted to each other and try so hard to not be at the same time. The mutual pining has my heart fluttering.

"I could come from just watching her. But when she moans my name, I nearly explode. And almost crash my car."

Meh, 1 Pepper + 2 Stars

I was recommended this for a good Halloween smut book and it’s kinda disappointing. It read way more like psycho and r*p* than most dark romances I read, but that may be just because of how short it is and lacks on more detail and more story.

Small town romances just hit different. It feels so real compared to the high fantasy/dark romance that I normally read and I just love it. Honey and Colin make a great couple and I’m glad they both stood up for themselves, but at the same time, gave in to being vulnerable with each other. If you loved Jo and Linc, you’ll love Honey and Colin.

Spoiler:
My favorite part was when Honey looked down at the sledgehammer and I just knew what was going to come next.

“I smiled and it struck me that midnight BLTs with a kiss on the top of my head was oddly the most romantic thing a man had ever done for me.”

The emotional feelings I had while listening to this book... I cried from happiness, I cried from sadness. I don't know if I have giggled more during a book. I love the FMC and her sassiness and her inability to take no for an answer. I think Emma Wilder (narrator for Lilly) and John Hartley (narrator for Keller) did an amazing job and portrayed an amazing couple. Plus all the other accents and characters, they did an amazing job.

"Like if I gave you the chance, you would drop to your knees and swallow my cum"

I would have never guessed this was Lena’s debut novel. The tropes of one room/best friends brother had me hooked. The feelers were tugged on (definitely cried reading a certain letter) and I completed the book in basically 24 hours. I’m very very excited to read the next one about Honey and Colin!!

Again, Strange but I’m laughing

Honestly, this is great. I think the writing could use some help (flipping back and forth between first and third person), but once you get past the strangeness of the plot, it’s spicy and cute. I’m glad it’s not any longer, but I’m absolutely going to read the Squealquel.

The beginning: rough. It was a lot of information all at once. It got way better as the chapters went on and the characters started to use the language in the book.
The middle: rage. Loved the dual point of view. It was different because the characters saw each other in different ways and situations differently.
The end: perfect. It wrapped up perfectly. Can be more of a series, could be a standalone. I got attached to the characters and Dylan did a great job showing the good and bad in people.

Why did I Read This and Laugh Hysterically

Honestly, I loved this book. Super fast read, not hard (in the reading sense), and a full beginning, middle, and end. Love it.

This book is such a fun read. I was smiling the whole time reading it and it has a great 'HEA'. I'm so happy that the 'probably smut book club' sent this to me, because it wouldn't have been something that I would have picked up at the bookstore, but I'm now a big fan of Trilina Pucci and can't wait to read more of their books.
