Stunning work by Emily once again. This series comes to a close with Paul and Hadrell, who you meet briefly in Space in Love and Space For More. The emotion their story provides had me crying, laughing, and fanning myself. This HEA takes a bit of reading, but they get there in the end, along with some hot spice with cool tech.

Space For Growth is an alien romance between a transmasc nonbinary alien pirate and an office dwelling human man. There's theatrics, there's k!nk, there's murder, there's romance, there's cute alien fluffballs.

Follow Rose as she escapes a violent marriage and does her best to navigate small town life. Meet Hunter, a former FBI agent who seen it all and now lives in said small town. Blooming Rose is a dual POV, slow burn, with a vibe of 'Beauty and the Beast'. See CW at bottom.

No spoilers, but if you love grumpy, growly men and women who grow strong and confident through trial and fire, you'll like this book. I enjoyed the plot a lot, but get ready for a slowwwww burn to get to the spice. It's fast once it happens.

I never cried, but I did laugh out loud. If you read this, just know Lottie is my favorite. Followed up very closely by Hellboy.

Favorite Quotes:
💀"Who hurt you?"

🗡️"What's wrong? Use your words, you're a grown ass man, you don't get to sulk like this anymore."

🍩"Good morning, Rose. Got anything sweet for me today?"

🏃‍➡️"Good grief, not only had I upset Rose, but now, apparently, I was on the shit-list of the town's own personal mafia. Sure, the mafia don was pushing eighty-five and I could probably outrun her, but I believed her when she said she'd run me out of town."

😡"The sound of a gun cocking drew a collective silence. I peeked around the corner to see Lottie gripping a large shotgun, pointing it right at Marcus. 'I do not appreciate that kind of language in my establishment,' she snapped."

😠"Get the fuck off my lawn"

🔫"I even saw Lottie in the crowd, clutching her shotgun and looking like a Valkyrie, ready to reap vengeance upon the unworthy."

Foreseen Fate is a dual POV, fated mates, omegaverse, where you meet Elora and Cristian. The world building is new and fun, just written (in my opinion) quickly and rushed. There is much more story to come, so I'm very excited to read about the plot in the next book because an omegaverse where there isn't scent, knotting, and all the normal tropes I read in an omegaverse is intriguing.

Elora and Cristian have magic that allow visions and prophecies to be seen, a gift from the Dark One. They are required to help the vampire covens and their alphas find their omegas. There's family drama, secrecy, plot twists, and spice.

🥵 "Yes, my enchantress. I've seen you in my visions."

Words escape me when thinking about this book. How do I convince you to pick up and jump into this book? Quotes? Ramblings? The ART?? I'm going to give you everything because I feel so strongly about this, without spoiling the book. Art is posted on Insta... sorry.

"Since my first snack got away, I'll need to eat something else."

Aegir is a human shifter who has worked hard to study all walks of life, allowing him to transform his body into whatever with the help of magic. Taking on characters whenever needed. His most comfortable form is an orca. Black and white, tail, cute little pointed ears. Orca. As he is hunting in the waters outside his ship (yup, pirate), he finds a snack. That snack is wily, more tricksy than a normal seal.

Meet Elspeth. Elspeth is a selkie, also known as a seal shifter. They can shift using their pelt, which is a removable object, but held very dear to each selkie. Her family is close and she is a caring and lovable daughter of a small beach community. She endures a traumatic event (on page, not described) and that's where the plot takes off.

"I have so many ideas of fun things we can do to explore your aversion to touch, and every single one of them sounds delicious."

Aegir's actions and words are swoonworthy, making me blush and giggle through the whole book. He caters to Elspeth's trauma in a healthy way, without causing her to hate herself or her feelings. Enter a spicy, rope scene where Aegir completely gives up all control. 👀

The Rake or The Orca Who Met His Match in a Selkie Desiring Revenge is the third book in the Shades of Sanctuary series, but can be read as a standalone. I did. I haven't read the first two yet (read that as a sad physical TBR list who needs attention).

And if I haven't convinced you yet to read this 10 🌟 book, maybe this phrase will tip you over to download it as your next mood read.

Other honorable quote mentions:
💧"Jokith had often joked that Aegir's type was 'breathing', which Aegir felt was unfair and reductionary. In truth, his type was consenting, available, and breathing. A very clear distinction."

🦭"...he found Elspeth's partially-shifted state extremely comforting. It seemed she could also pause her shift halfway through, which meant that they both had tails, but more humanoid top halves. they both took on more of their animals coloring, and he liked the kinship that it created."

💘"Elspeth, I will never be upset with you for having feelings."

Review for Nosfer-Meet-You

“Yeah. She’s pissed. I would be, too, if I just exerted all of my energy for some chucklefuck who didn’t want to wade through piss water like a little bitch.”

I had so much fun reading this. It really did bring me some laughs between Scotty and Juliette. A great story of finding love in the strangest, most interesting of places.

Soft and Cozy Read with Amazing ‘Scenes’

I couldn’t stop reading this book. I preordered the signed copy, but it didn’t come in time so I downloaded on kindle unlimited on my phone. Every moment I had free, I had the app open and reading. This was a feel good, HEA with a cute anxiety ridden couple that has the perfect amount of miscommunication. They just wanted to understand each other and there was a barrier of self doubt. I loved it. So perfect. I can’t wait for the next one!!

Second Read -
Audible Book. I'm so happy to come back and listen to Fina and Maerlon's story again. Gosh they are so cute.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book is SO fun to read!! Zoe writes a entertaining story about Gianna and Mr. Koch. She's a human, working as a designer hired to help Mr. Koch. He has some... special abilities... that make working together... hard....

There are some great laughs at Mr. Koch's expense with Gianna being sassy, which is honestly my favorite part. I'm 100% going to be reading this again. It's a short, lovely read and I highly recommend it.

Sarah, you lucky lucky gal. I'm glad there were three books because of all that happened. It's worth the read! Start with Abducting Sarah, book 1!.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
