This is a quick download 'gotcha' from an Instagram Reel. I don't remember what the quote/reel was, but I'm sure it was good.

I'll give this one 3 stars (which for me is 'I liked it, but wouldn't read again). I think the relationship was a little rushed, but I did like the concept of Brock and Emma meeting, and the tension between them. Brock surviving with any means necessary, but still being a kind being and then Emma having a kind heart and not caring about the differences between the Novans (aliens), the Earthlings, and the spawn of the two (the Kurians).

Big shout out to the side character... which I can't remember there name at this point, but it's the new director person that hires Brock and Emma for the movie. Big props to taking a chance and also recognizing the spice between the two.

What an Instagram Reel find and disappointment!

This was an immediate download even though I had many others books on my currently reading list already. I enjoyed this book enough, but several things I just didn't enjoy.

I very much enjoy RH and why choose, those are my favorite tropes. Unfortunately, there was limited scenes with them all together. Savage Hate didn't turn out how I thought/wanted it too.

The FMC, Lennon Rose, gets off way too easy for seriously bullying in high school. Spoilers for plot:
Spoiler The three MMCs, Silas, Damon, Jude, all stop a teenager Lennon from being raped in high school, then turns her back on them to get seriously beat up. 10 years later, she comes back to her home town after being cheated on by her fiance, and happens to move in to the apartment above the tattoo place owned by the three MMC's. She ends up buddying up to the current admin/receptionist and gets a job, since she's been fucked over and all her money and things taken by her ex-fiance. Silas, Damon, and Jude give her a little bit of a hard time by making her clean the bathroom and grab them dinner... which in my opinion isn't torture, isn't revenge. Then after a small test to make sure 'she's a good person', they forgive her and then are suddenly attracted to her. To the person that gave them hell throughout high school. From the POV of the boys, I just don't see a reason for all of them to forgive her that easily. It's just to short of a book.

It's a decent book overall, I just wish there was more flushed out and more emotion put into it.

"We were trying to help you. We were always trying to help you. But like a shelter dog, you just wanted to bite us."
"Any flavor preferences?” I shrug. “Vanilla?” He gives me a dark, lewd smile. “Not for long."
“Don’t even think about it,” I growl, and he turns to face me. “You fucking touch her, and you’re a dead man.”

👀Tropes: MMGMB is a Monster bully romance with Dual POV. It has office romance, fake marriage, unequal social status, stuck together (one bed/room), a touch of fated mates, age gap, a little slow burn, major grumpy/sunshine, and a little size difference tropes.

☠️CW: Explicit s3x, there is mention of panic attacks and death of parent (past mention off page)

✨Initial Reaction: The first post I saw about another Minotaur Book had me jumping up and down and I'm so happy and honored I was chosen as an ARC reader. Per other's initial reviews while chatting with other early readers, I was real worried about how much of a bully the male main character, Ronan, was going to be to the female main character, Justine. This is my first Ami Wright book, so I wasn't aware of her writing, so it had me on my toes.

✨Final Reaction: I loved reading this book! Very very good and had me staying up very late to find out what was going to happen after each chapter. Ronan is SUCH a jerk. I cannot believe how many times he played our poor poor girl Justine. Just over and over, I wanted to slap his stupid big furry face. I also wanted to slap her too, don't get me wrong. I needed her to stand up for herself and stop getting run over emotionally. FINALLY, at the end, we get some action from her, standing up for herself and simultaneously getting a HEA.

💖Quotes: "Mr. Kernos feels big and impenetrable. And, even though things have been going well lately, I'm terrified I'll stuff something up and annoy him. then I'll end up right back where I was a few days ago. About to lose my job." - So many people can relate to this in their working world

This is my first book by Zoe Ashwood and I can't believe I haven't found these books earlier. I'm obsessed. This comfy, cozy, low angst book was such a beautiful, easy read that made me feel all good inside. There was lovely stories about love and not judging others for their choices because you don't know their backgrounds or history. I can't wait to read the rest of these books in the series and find out the other characters stories.

Tropes: MMF, Fated Mates, Found Family, Virgin

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

✨Initial Reaction: I very much enjoyed Book 1 Fated Unkindness and while it ended on a sad cliffhanger, Eclipse of Fate really and truly brings you back in.

✨Final Reaction: Everything hurts. The characters written by Blake Gallows show so much emotion, starting with page 15, my heart is ripped out. I really love how many points of view we get to absorbed as much information as possible. There are twists, turns, and rugs ripped out from under you. "Every smile I can get from her is like witnessing a solar eclipse" followed quickly by "I mean, if I knew you ate like an animal, then I could just feed you from a bowl on the floor". There's perfect comedic relief by the side characters that just makes me love them so much. I swear if Blake does anything to my sweet babies in book 3, Moon Raven Rising, I will revolt.

And I hope I won't regret this, but I think I've fallen for the **spoiler**! villain. He is just a tortured soul and I hope he is forgiven for everything, even though I know he can't be. "I refuse to live another day in the depravity of this wretched life I've come to loathe. I was used and abused my entire life. I've done things that are enough for my death ten times over, but I hope that I can talk to Raelle and prove that I have information that will help them.

💖Quotes:

🤣"I wouldn't do that again" "Do what?" "Make my dick twitch"

😂"What the hell, woman! Stop acting like a feral animal!"

🥵"I can't wait until next time, little creature. But I promise you, your punishment will be much more satisfying." I wink, then launch into the night sky.

💘"Use your strongest instinct, Trent. You have always been the one of us to follow your heart. Don't stop now when we are all calloused and cold. You will always be the fire that warms us. You will always be what brings us back together."

And the following is a huge spoiler:
And the part that broke me, the part that made me cry at 2am in my bed. 😭"Please give me something to know you're alive. I know in my bones that it's true, but please. Tell me I'm not imagining this." I hope that I'm not going mad in this dungeon, but I almost think I felt her breath brush my skin. Just in case I'm not going mad, I decide to use my mind to speak what I would, as though she is standing right in front of me. "I'm alive, my love. Just barely, but I will hold on to anything I can until I am able to return to you." Her eyes widen, and tears well and fall across her cheeks. She heard the words that I thought--she had to have. I feel my body weakening further, but I hold on as long as I can, needing to keep her with me as long as possible--to continue watching her and feeling her presence. 😭

Started on 06-21-23 and not ending until 08-29-23 usually gives a bad rep, but really, it was my brain saying 'don't read through it so fast' and 'don't let it end'. I stopped just over halfway through because I knew that this was going to be a tear jerker. I just want them all to ____ and be happy. The world building, the descriptions, the emotions, everything is just top tier and incredible. I read the first one 3 times before this one came out and I'm sure I'll read this one again too. Kel is my absolute favorite and I just want him to be released from whatever torment he is going through.

Second read through: Audible
Rosie and her boys just have me swooning at every page. My favorite chapters and quotes so far:
Chapter 39: Kel lacing up Rosie's bodice and Ez pulling her hair back.

My notes from this book include: “Chapter 6: I’m melting. Holding head, tears, freaking out. I’m loving Abi being forward and saying exactly what she wants and needs the moment she feels something different. AHHHHH.”

So many emotions for such a small book, but I think this is one of my favorite reads this year. And perfect for Pride Month!! This book stars an Owl Shifter FMC and a non-binary Shadow Monster. Don’t hesitate and just go download it.

Devoured! Absolutely devoured this book. I received an early copy and read it in 4 hours the day I got it. I have not read the first 4 books in the series, but I'm absolutely going to now! I couldn't put it down and stayed up way to late on a work night to find out what happens when Esme, Drazak, and Han'zir find each other when they least expect it.
