I don't know what just happened.
That was how I felt after reading this CRAZY book. I love and hate it with equal measure. Honestly, anything I want to say would spoil the book. Just know that you're in for a ride with this one.

I was really excited to get into this. But the first half of the book felt a little too slow going for me. The last part of the book got my attention because I had my suspicions but I wasnt sure of the reasons so that was fun. Might pick up more books in the future!

I only have one word to describe this audiobook; heartbreaking.
Firstly, I will say that the narrator was amazing in this audiobook. All the emotions were potrayed so well. I was truly engaged.
This is more of a suspense than a thriller. Saying more would be a spoiler this 4-hour audiobook.
I’m looking forward to reading more from Lucinda Berry.
* Look up for trigger warnings

okay, that ending was horrifying.
this book made me think of how fragile our minds can be and how scary it would be if we lost control of it.

I went into with all the high hopes in the world and all the 5 stars in the world.
And I'm happy to say that Richard Osman did not disappoint. I enjoyed every single word in this book. It got my heart. I don't know what else to say except I can't wait for We Solve Murders 2.

I'm glad to continue reading Millie's journey but sometimes her inner thoughts really annoys me lol. I think I enjoyed the first one a lot more than I did this one. It's quite mad and no matter what, it was an entertaining read for a thriller. As always, the epilogue did it for me. And now, it's time for me to read part 3.

I don't really know how describe how I feel about this book. Overall, I believe the main takeaway from it is empathy. You could be in a room full of strangers and we can never know what they are / have been going through in their own lives. Many layers that go beyond our first impression. At the end of the day, we are all doing our best.
At least, that's what I took from this book which goes beyond the simple plot-line of a bank robbery and a hostage situation.
This is only my second book from Fredrik Backman. I did enjoy Ove more than this just because I did find some parts quite repetitive but I've tabbed a lot of quotes that I would like to revisit.

3.5? 3.7? Goodreads let me be flexible with the ratings please!
This book had everything I wanted. Isolated closed circle and duo timeline. I like going back and forth in a book when it’s done well. And i think this went well for me. However, this is just a personal taste, I don’t really enjoy the super competitive athlete chatters. And I wasn’t too interested in the technicalities of snowboarding.
But overall, I did flew through this book because the mystery and curiousity got to me. So i think, I enjoyed it?
