I was only reading this book to be able to read His Greatest Muse, by the same author, as it has characters from this series that tie into it. But I honestly can't put myself through this torture anymore. There was not a single thing I liked about this book. One thing about me is that I love to highlight anything and everything in books. My only highlight in this book is how I thought it was weird that in the e-book a line says, "Aries. Early April birthday." but in the audiobook it says March.
Anyways, this book is not worth my time anymore and I'd rather go in semi-blind to the rest of the series.

There’s so many problems with this book. The main one is where the hell is any of the connection with the characters. 35% into this we have Sig and Chloe meeting, sharing a kiss, and finding out they’re going to be step siblings in 8 months (that all happens within the first 20% of the book). Only to get time jumps, moments mentioning times they’ve been together and how they need to stop what they’re doing soon because it’s going to be wrong. These characters are also supposed to be in their mid-20’s but act like teenagers. The fact that Chloe doesn’t know how to do a single thing for herself is unsettling and screams abusive parent (even her mom was straight refusing to let her do things too!!!!)
Tessa, girl, please get your shit together. This is just some sloppy writing. I don’t think I’ll be reading another one of her books since the last few I’ve read have been about the same quality.

This man gave me the ick after hearing vibrating coming from the FMC room and has the audacity to say he should burst into her room and demand to join her/watch. EXCUSE ME. THEN, he bangs on her door and she's brushing her teeth, smh, the vibrating was her toothbrush. MMC then forces himself on her shoving his face in hers for a kiss. no thank you.
I was already on the fence about finishing this book but after reading that, I lost any glimmer of interest that was there.

Oh, yikes this was a jumbled mess. The main characters are so bland and boring with zero personality and cringy insta-love. The whole stalker plot was unoriginal and honestly made me like the book less. The more I kept reading this, the more I hated this book.

Dnf @ 45%. This book had so much potential but it just ended up being so boring. I was going to finish it but I didn't care enough to find out what happens. The fact that the plot that drew me into this book, the anonymous chatting, was resolved in chapter FIVE was ridiculous. It was way too quick and I felt zero connection to the characters.
When finding out that the FMC actually gets stuff delivered to her neighbor without telling him, thats fuckin weird ok. I'd understand a few packages but damn, no wonder the MMC didn't like her.
