Lila found out her husband’s dirty secret. She killed him and stashed his body in his car and drove it to the school parking lot. She made the murder look like suicide. When Lila finds out the news that her husband is missing she isn’t surprised, but she is surprised to hear that his body and car are not where she left it. Is Aaron alive or did someone move him? Also, there are college girls going missing. Could there be a link?
Pretty Little Wife is definitely a fast read. Lila is cold and unflinching. She almost seems emotionless. She was a great character to follow. The twists were not shocking and were meh. I did not find pleasure in this thriller and thought it was lukewarm and I have been finding thrillers to be not the greatest lately. If you want a fast read then pick this up.

Burke plans to wine and dine Skye, who is a 29 year old woman with a trust fund. However, he is married and has a plan up his sleeve. Him and Skye get engaged. Is it all too good to be true?
I really don’t want to go into the whole depth of what this book is about because it will ruin the book for you. I found the twists and the plot to be guessed easily. I wasn’t surprised about anything that happened. Lately I have been guessing thrillers and not surprised. Thrillers are just average to me lately. I did hate a certain gold digging character. It was a short read. I liked that Skye had a mental illness.

Phury was a Brother, but is no longer. His twin is Z, who was from book three and ends up with Bella. Phury is in love with Bella who is pregnant with Z’s child. Phury ends up taking over for Vishous as Primale male. He meets Cormia, who is one of the Chosen who he is supposed to impregnate. Will he fall for her?
I liked this book more than the last one. I liked that Phury had a drug addiction and had to overcome it. It was a little awkward with Phury going from celibate to not. I loved the drama with John and his friends. A villain is back in the story and gave the story more depth! I cannot wait to see what happens to John and the lessers in the next few books.

Usually the Fever series follows the protagonist named Mac, but this time we follow a fourteen year old named Dani in Dublin. She used to be best friends with Mac, but a betrayal happened and she is no longer friends with Mac. This follows the events of after what happens in the last few books.
I found this book to be a bit cringey. Dani is fourteen and has a ton of crushes on older men and wants to lose her virginity to them, but these older men find interest into her. I found this book to be meh and I didn’t really care for what was happening. I prefer Mac to be the narrator. I’ll still follow up with the last few books since I want to see how this series ends. I did like the action though.

Ren was taken by her parents at a young age and brought to the castle. However, the capital was set on fire and The Whispers saved Ren from the evil King and Justice. The Whispers are being hunted by the King and Prince. The Prince is specifically looking for Dez, the leader. When he is captured, Ren makes a promise that she will get vengeance at all costs.
So, I first got this as a library book and made it in to almost 200 pages. I was struggling to actually want to read it and then it was due, so I got it on audiobook from Libby. I listened to the rest of the book while walking Riot and working out at the gym. I liked it way more on audio for some odd reason. I liked the action and the twists in the book. I really want to know more of the magic system and why The Whispers think the King is evil.

This follows up a few months after A King So Cold. Audra is linked with Zad and everything is going well...until Audra is kidnapped by the King of Beldine. The King wants Zad, but the only way to get him is to steal Audra to lure him to the Fae lands. Zad is the rightful heir of the lands, but wants nothing to do with it. His brother Ryle, the King cannot keep the land fertile. Things and life are dying. Zad must complete the act, but that will be a betrayal to Audra. What will happen?
Audra was so evil and cunning in A King So Cold. In this book she is more soft, which felt out of character. I got tired of the drama with Audra and Zad with are they or aren’t they. A lot of things were anti-climatic. This was just okay and felt like a let down of an ending.

The Damned takes place after The Beautiful. Sébastien is now a vampire and damned. He hates his fate. Celine’s memories are gone, but she keeps having dreams. What will happen?
I feel like not much happened in The Damned. I was very bored most of the time. I did enjoy Sèbastien and Celine with their troubles and coming together. The world building was great too.

Romancing Mr. Bridgerton takes place 10 years after The Duke & I. Whistledown has been going for that long too and Lady Danbury announces to give 1000 pounds to whoever unmasks her. This book is mostly about Penelope and Colin. Colin and Penelope have been friends for a while. Colin is always going out of the country and Penelope is forever the wallflower. At twenty-eight she is a spinster and will probably never. Will Colin ever see her in a new light?
I really enjoyed Romancing Mr. Bridgerton. I thought it was fun and witty. I loved the friendship of Colin and Penelope and how it blossomed to more over time. I did enjoy the drama of Mrs. Whistledown. I did know who she was prior to reading the book because I watched the show. I can’t wait to read more of these books.

The Rage of Dragons is an inspired African epic. Tau is from the lesser caste and is training to be a solider. When a raid happens and he participates in it and is sicken by killing. He wants a life where he can injure himself as a solider so he can get married and live a quiet life At the trials to become a solider, a tragedy strikes. Tau wants revenge and will give up his dreams to make people pay. He doesn’t care what caste they are and what caste they are from. They will all die. He will become a strong swordsman and a warrior.
I could not put this book down. I loved how Tau wants revenge and doesn’t let anything get in his way. The magic system was great and I loved the small appearances of dragons. I want more and hope there is more political intrigue in the sequel. You all have to pick this book up!

Vivi is always the new girl since her mom and her would move around a lot. Vivi finds that college could be a fresh start of being at a place for four years and not moving around. At college, she ends up running into the Ravens and pledging at their sorority. There she meets Scarlett who is horrible to her. Scarlett is a person who is put together and has her future planned out for herself. She has demons haunting her and is proud to be a witch. This book is told from the point of view of Vivi and Scarlett.
This book comes off so strong and I was intrigued. As
I kept on reading, it lost its luster. I felt like the rushing and hell week were rushed. I feel like the romance was just forced. I did like the friendships and sisterhood.
