Was just okay and was hard to get into. The whisper man was on the creepy side though. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for this arc.

DNF. For some reason I could not get into this book. It seems like a good premise, but not my cup of tea. I find it hard with the narration of the main character. Also, I found it more character driven and I didn’t like the main character.

Imagine you are standing on a subway platform and see a woman fall into the tracks and die. For Shay, this happened. She believes she witnessed a suicide and it has left her scared and shaken up. She starts looking into the woman’s life. Starts making up lies. She starts to befriend the woman’s friends. Her friends know something is up, but take Shay under the wing to see Shay’s attention. How will Shay get out from under all these lies she dug herself in? Will she survive the world of the dead girl’s friends?
A great premise and just like their other books, they become so captivating that it is hard to put them down. I loved the premise and at first everything seems confusing, but how the story is told you want more. It eventually all comes together and makes sense. The reason I rated this book four stars was because I didn’t feel like the twists were as shocking as their other books. It was still good, but felt lacking in my opinion. The characters were done greatly and there were many people in the book I wanted to yell at or slap for what was happening in the story.
If you love thrillers and their previous books, then pick this up, you won’t regret it.

Definitely a different type and unique fantasy that I loved.
There is a decoy princess who is set to marry a false king. This decoy can weave tapestries and make them come to life. There is another princess who is to be sacrificed and a sly man named El Lobo who fights against both crowns. What happens when all three mix together?
I really enjoyed this, but I docked a star due to the guessing of who El Lobo is and because I felt like the ending dragged a bit. However, I’m interested in what could happen next.

Dnf. I couldn’t get into it. Wasn’t funny. Also, I draw the line whenever books make fun of people who have a disability. Yes, it was a short part in the book, but still.

Love Her or Lose Her follows Sophie and Dominic who were side characters in Fix Her Up. They have been married for over a decade, but they never talk even though the have explosive sparks and chemistry with one another. Sophie gets fed up and leaves Dominic. Dominic goes ahead with Sophie’s idea of couple counseling. From there they have to rediscover their marriage, but themselves as well.

This was super cute and fun. I loved the rom com and the broken marriage and them trying to save it through going through counseling. It was funny, cute, and just a fun fast read that I recommend to anyone.

I cannot wait until we get Bethany and Wes’ story next year, which I totally guessed when Wes was introduced to the story.

I could not put this down. I loved the world that was built with the different houses. This book is told in four different point of views and each character was interesting and well developed. I love the different conflicts we see and experience throughout the story. I just really loved this and am glad I was approved for this from Netgalley. So, thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read Raven and Dove-it was highly entertaining and worth the read. I need more and I’m glad to learn book two will be out this summer.

This is fast paced and an action packed young adult fantasy novel. I really loved the dual POVs and each of the characters. The adventure was well done as well as the world building.

Stevie Bell does it again and is a step closer to solving the case of a century.
The Hand on the Wall was as good as Truly Devious and better than the Vanishing Stair. There is a ton of suspense, humor, and twists peppered throughout the book. The ending is satisfying and wonderful. Do not miss out on this ending.

Nik gets proposed to by her boyfriend who she hasn’t been with long. She didn’t see the proposal coming and it happens on a jumbo-tron at a Dodgers game. It is public humiliation when she says no. Carlos and his sister sweep in and save Nik from the public embarrassment. From there these two start to form a friendship and something that could be more.
I found The Proposal to be sweet, cute, and funny. However, it wasn’t as great as The Wedding Date. Yet, I still loved this book and Jasmine Guillory.
