Nik gets proposed to by her boyfriend who she hasn’t been with long. She didn’t see the proposal coming and it happens on a jumbo-tron at a Dodgers game. It is public humiliation when she says no. Carlos and his sister sweep in and save Nik from the public embarrassment. From there these two start to form a friendship and something that could be more.
I found The Proposal to be sweet, cute, and funny. However, it wasn’t as great as The Wedding Date. Yet, I still loved this book and Jasmine Guillory.
