DNF. Was good, but didn’t have time to finish it and got bored with it.

One Dark Throne is Three Dark Crown's sequel by Kendare Blake. The book picks up right after Three Dark Crown's events. The three sisters are planning revenge on one another and preparing to kill one another so only one of them can be Queen.
The book is told from a third person perspective and gives perspective to most of the characters.
I found the book to be slow moving, but towards the end it gets good. Betrayals occur, love, revenge, and action. I really enjoyed this book and want more to this series. The novella should be releasing at the end of this year or early 2018.
I give this book 4/5 stars.

I really enjoyed reading Johnny. I think this book is developmentally appropriate for a child that is around the preschool age. It shows children that we should not judge other people based on what they look like because they may actually be really nice people. We also should not judge insects, bugs, etc. Also, this teaches children to not be afraid of spiders. Well done.

For psych210, 7th edition.

Trying to figure out what I wanted to rate this book was hard. I enjoyed the characters, the plot, and the execution of how the story was told. I really loved how it went from present time told by Janie, then back in time to tell Annabelle’s and Bay’s story. The one thing I struggled with the book was the pacing. It had a lot of slow spots, which would make feel tired and want to put the book down. But, overall it was enjoyed and the ending was an omg moment.

I’m not usually a fan of thrillers or suspense stories. I ended up choosing this book as an add on for my Book of The Month box due to hearing how amazing this book is. And let me say it definitely lives up to its hype. I’ll admit I did guess some of the plot twists, but that is okay. The writing is excellent and clever. It kept me engaged with me staying up until 1 or 2 am. Should I mention it’s super late and that it took me less than 48 hours to finish? The ending was very unpredictable and leaving me internally screaming. This books is very good and twisty. Read it, you will not regret it.
