such a cute & spicy book! i absolutely loved the MCs and there’s no third act breakup!

i loved everything jace did for cass after everything she’s been through. he’s the perfect book bf. 🥹

i fell in love with avina st. graves ever since i read her book “death’s obsession.” i screamed when i saw that her arcs were open for “skin of a sinner” omg.

roman and isabella have had the crappiest lives growing up in the foster system. roman is UNHINGED in the best way, everything he does is for his bella. he’s like a psycho mixed with that golden retriever energy and i am here for it! 

i can’t read books that don’t use “ when characters are talking. this book sounded great, but i had to reread a bunch of parts because i didn’t realize there was dialogue

omg reid’s character development! there was so much happening in this book, i loved seeing inside JD’s mind. the emotions he felt for maya and alana were so strong!

i’m so glad we got to see even more of mav in this book. i love him and alana together. 🥹

the cliffhanger was CRAZY. i need book 4 already. 😭

i loved this book so much! it made me laugh out loud several times and i’ve been recommending this to everyone that loves a good romcom!

i know that when jen first wrote prey drive, it was meant to end there. but she gave us what we wanted and wrote book 2! i’m extremely proud of you jen!! i know 2023 wasn’t easy for you, but you worked your butt off for your readers. 🖤

fallen prey is a lot darker and steamier than the first book! i would even say it has slight gøre in it. i don’t want to spoil it, but it was the perfect ending and just what i needed after prey drive.

ok first of all…. shoutout to the runyx shoutout. 😂 one of my favorite series was mentioned in this book!

their first “date” was hilarious. i was on the plane reading that part and i couldn’t stop laughing. i had to make sure i wasn’t cackling too loud. everything that could’ve gone wrong, did. 😀 love that for dustin lmao.

i love that claire’s favorite fast & furious movie is tokyo drift because i personally think that’s the best one. 😂

this is a debut novel by my girl and it was the perfect first book! dustin is the perfect book boyfriend and claire reminds me a lot of myself. 

claire has gone through a lot and has made it out stronger than ever. in comes dustin, a man who falls head over heels in love with claire as soon as he sets his eyes on her. 

special mention to june for being the bestest friend claire has ever had, other than han. she tells it like it is and i wish everyone had a friend like her! 

it got pretty suspenseful towards the end and i was on the edge of my seat the entire time!

i can’t believe how swoon worthy this book was omg. camden bought the art gallery right next door to pippa’s bakery. the first time meeting, she spilled beer on him at the bar and he was suuuuch an asshole to her. 😭

i am completely and utterly in love with camden. he didn’t have the best childhood and pippa showed him what love is. 🥹

there are cameos from the main characters in rewrite our story AND black ties and white lies! 👀

the amount of times i cried reading this book…. unreal. jennifer hartmann is able to capture emotions perfectly. i laughed when the characters laughed, i cried when they did. i experienced heartbreak when they did.

this book follows tabitha and gabe. tabitha was the matchmaker’s victim a couple months before dean & cora (still beating).

her journey to finding herself and finding love after matthew was so beautiful, i can’t put it into words. she’s one of the strongest FMCs i’ve read about and i’m so happy i was able to get an arc for this book.

gabe is a book HUSBAND! 🗣️ he’s so patient with tabitha and loves her with everything he has. their story is one of my favorites. 

i loved the cameos from dean + cora and oliver + sydney (lotus). everything about this book was perfection!
