omg this is my first book by angel m. shaw and i loved it! i love the mob-adjacent vibes and the fmc, winter! she's incredibly strong after going what she went through.

she meets hunter because his son, august, is her client. august is an autistic teenager who has gone through a traumatic event, and now has to live with his dad. 

i love that hunter can recognize his wrongs and he's trying to be the best person he can for winter and august. and hunter's sister, ella!? i love her too. her bubbly personality, the way she is with august. i absolutely loved all the characters.

i can't believe the ending! i need to read the next book immediately.

ketley has a way of writing why choose romances with an actual plot. i was sucked in the entire time!

i love the creepy secret society/cult lore she has in this universe. i could not put it down! it had romance, suspense, and mystery all wrapped up in one. 

this is the second and final book in this duet. and it picks right back up where wicked court left off. and it had the perfect ending. 

I LOVE CASH AND EVERLY! 🥹 they are the cutest!!

i am so obsessed with the tropes in this book and i’m so happy i got the honor of reading this arc! ann never disappoints!

i loved all the banter between all the characters and cash’s parents are just so adorable. i love seeing them in every book. 🥹

it’s so refreshing to see that even before cash, everly had a nice paying job and was able to support herself. even though she could buy herself materialistic things, cash still showed up to spoil her! 

i also loved seeing her relationship with theo, her twin. i’m hoping he gets his own book. 🥹 i can’t wait to read about dawson in the next one!

astrid and geraint’s relationship is a bit unconventional, but i love them
together!

astrid has been through a lot with her family, especially her father. she also ends up going through so much after geraint (not directly because of him though) and she’s still a baddie!

the side characters in this one were…. insane! i didn’t have a clue as to what was going to happen next. this book kept me on my toes!

i can’t wait for the next book!

at first, i was a little confused as to what was going on. but the more i read, the more it made sense!

first of all, i love arcane's name! she's such a badass! and viper omg. there were so many twists, i basically read this in one sitting.  i kinda wish it was longer! i wanted to see life with arcane and viper afterwards.

LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH! it’s so refreshing to see a plus size fmc who is also confident in her own body. jill has been through so much in her life and now she’s on the hunt for her missing brother. and gage walks into her life like a hurricane. 😮‍💨 he’s been stalking her for quite some time and has become obsessed!

gage is very much over-the-top, but i love it. and jill takes no shit. i can’t wait to read more from this author. 🥹 if you haven’t read her first book (any means necessary), please do! 

anddddd i need a book about lana and anders! 👀 maybe that’ll be book 2? 😗
