waylon and harlow!! my babies forever. 🥹

i’m normally not a fan of age gap, but this one was done extremely well. throw in a dirty talkin cowboy and i’m yellin yee haw. 🙂‍↕️

waylon and harlow have both gone through some pretty tough times growing up. i feel like it’s what brought them together, knowing that they had something in common.

i definitely shed a tear (ok maybe full on cried) towards the end of the book. i wasn’t expecting it because i was laughing out loud at most of the funny conversations they both were having in the beginning. but this one ripped my heart out. 😭

this book was the perfect ending to this duet. i received a PR package from vee that included a pack of tissues, which got me a little scared. little did i know, i would’ve been using the entire pack. 😭

while i am devastated over ash, i absolutely love ember and rain together. this story was so beautiful. 😭 santiago was the best side character (lowkey hope he gets his own book omg).

this book has love, loss, and everything in between. i am forever thankful to vee for writing this complex story with these wonderful characters.

this book is dark in the way that it might hit a little close to home for some people. so make sure you read ALL of the content warnings.
