this book was the perfect ending to this duet. i received a PR package from vee that included a pack of tissues, which got me a little scared. little did i know, i would’ve been using the entire pack. 😭

while i am devastated over ash, i absolutely love ember and rain together. this story was so beautiful. 😭 santiago was the best side character (lowkey hope he gets his own book omg).

this book has love, loss, and everything in between. i am forever thankful to vee for writing this complex story with these wonderful characters.

this book is dark in the way that it might hit a little close to home for some people. so make sure you read ALL of the content warnings.
