I really enjoyed reading Home Field Advantage!
I think this was my first Dahlia Adler book and it certainly won't be my last.
From the very beginning of following the path of HFA from Adler's twitter, to seeing it come to life, and reading it, I knew I was gonna enjoy it. I just didn't know how much.
I loved reading in both Amber and Jack's perspectives, on how they both felt throughout the book; the pull between each other, the feelings about their sports, etc…
Despite HFA being a YA, this has hard hitting topics that pull at your heartstrings. I liked seeing the topics and how they were woven into HFA. The bubbly, fun, airy world view of Home Field Advantage is definitely one that everyone knows, but getting into these hard dynamics was a surprise. I felt like it was done well, the balance of light and "dark".

I loved everything about Alceu, it's a fast paced short mafia romance that immediately sucks you in. From the very beginning, you'll fall in love with Alceu and Guilia. Their relationship from the first moment, all the tropes, everything about this makes you wanting (needing) more.
I enjoyed seeing Guilia being a badass, immediately taking lead and taking no shit, making all the boys swoon, even Alceu. The level of pettiness coming from Alceu, and Guilia jumping in head first is amazing.
This is my first book by Jade Marshall and it certainly won't be my last.
I received an arc of this book and I'm leaving an honest review voluntarily.

"Are you telling me that so I know you have more I can steal?"
I am in love with Madi and Ryder!
SBMC just gets better and better with each book! I love all of the characters and the fact that Ryder would lay down his life for her, ugh I need more.
Their constant back and forth with all of their feelings, the way she's determined to not be seen as a kid to someone who grew up with her, all of it.
I think Madi might just be my favorite out of all the girls; the night owl, coffee with sugar, caramel and cinnamon, oreos with peanut butter, steals her man's clothes years before they ever got together. Everything about her hits so close to home, and I love her.
I loved Ryder and Madi's entire relationship; the dirty dancing movie nights, the playfulness with each other, him already knowing her coffee order.
"You're a giant biker who, I'm pretty sure, kills people, and a horror movie is the thing that scares you?"
