Can I just say that I'm in love!

I mean, I'm complete trash for Peter Pan and retellings, and now dark romances, but this felt right up my alley.

I swear, I fell in love with every Lost Boy and Cyril, and even Ari reading OBTLB. I loved the dynamics of the Lost Boys and her relationship with each one of them. Whilst I don't have anxiety or a lot of mental health issues, I felt Merlin played this storyline really well, and kept the rep fantastically done.

And if you have a favorite Lost Boy or Peter Pan, you're lying.

I know it's a standalone, but I would love to see more, even some POVs of the boys and Cyril, too.

Thank you A.J. Merlin for proving the opportunity to ARC read OBLTB. And I can't wait to read more!

Ok, but the childhood friends to enemies to lovers trope is *chefs kiss*

I loved Rose and Eli's entire relationship from start to finish. The communication, them being each others firsts, their vulnerability with each other and their love from the very beginning. And the way they immediately jumped into their second chance, and realizing that they loved each other all along is beautiful.

AYT had me crying throughout the entire second half of the novel, and I wouldn't want that fact to change.

There's some plot lines I would've loved to see go even further; like their childhood, what happened before and after the fire (there are glimpses but would like to see from different POVs) and etc.

Rep: mental health, nerdy MMC, anxiety

I can't believe that this is K.H.'s first book, and I can't wait to continue the series.

Violet Craves is so fascinating and a great introduction to Dawn’s new series.

This is my introduction to Bex Dawn's writing and omg it's so good.

Please be careful and read all the trigger warnings going into Violet Craves. That being said, their relationship and dynamics that take place over the 24 hour period is hot.

Just the premise of the guys modeling for her book covers and them reading her book is every reader's dream. All 3 of these guys are fine. And the fact that all of them wanted each other and that everything they do is consensual *perfection*. Gotta love Violet's family as hype girls!

My asexual ass could never 😂

Do be aware that there are minor spoilers to the Los Diablos Syndicate series, but it's not needed to read before reading.

I am in love with Moody's writing: the prose, the style, all of it. The way she describes Faerie is magical.

I absolutely loved Chloe and Quintus together, just their witty banter, the back and forth. It was a fun slow-burn to read and their energies just matched each other so well.

"Who did this to you?"

Ugh, I'm in love.

Kay creates a beautiful world, comparative to that of Holly Black and Sarah J Maas. The world, seen before in her previous series. I absolutely love the world she created and cannot wait to see more.

Thank you to BookSirens and Kay L Moody for the chance for an ARC review and thank you again to Kay L Moody for the chance to Beta read FaCT.

Thank you to Margherita Scialla for providing an eARC for an honest review!

I really enjoyed A Song of Phoenix and Ink. The world building and story idea is unlike anything I've read.

A fast paced read, Scialla makes a good story. I liked all the representation– bisexual, lesbian, polyamory, deaf characters, BIPOC, and more.

I enjoyed reading from Nadzia's point of view, just her perspective on the world she created. I kind of enjoyed not seeing the full world, as we just see the world from her pov, not anyone else's.

But how dare you end it like that! I NEED MORE.

You know when you read a book during a literal tornado warning, it's gonna be amazing.

Haley is such a great writer, and I fell in love with everything from the very start. I can't believe that this is her first mafia romance.

From the very first page, you get sucked into a world that you don't wanna leave.

I loved Julia and Dean together, their connection, their dynamics, their fast-burn love for each other. Their vulnerability with each other has me soft, and the way Dean falls first!

Just the intensity, betrayal, romance, everything about QoD has me reeling.

Queen of Demons has my entire heart, and I cannot wait for more in her Demons world.

Vampire Academy meets Hunger Games

When the book literally opens with a girl stabbing an alpha vampire in the first chapter, you know it's gonna be good.

I first heard about Amber & Shadow on booktok, and fell in love from the first chapter. If this wont get you reading this, I don't know what will.

I loved the banter and back-and-forth between all 3 of our main characters, Axel, Sylas and Briar. The dynamics and relationship with them was so interesting and I loved reading about it. And the fact that they're all in their 20s, I don't know, just makes me love them even more.

I agree with some others that at the beginning, the different types of demons were a bit confusing to keep up with, but after you learn more, it's so worth it!

" 'I don't feel sorry for you.' " <- Briar

" 'I literally feel what you feel.' " <- Axel"

----------------------------

" 'You're leveraging my reputation?' he asked." <- Sylas

"Fucking right I am," <- Briar

A great debut from Mackay, she presents such an interesting and fun world and I can't wait to dive into more.

If I could give King of Ruin more than 5 stars I would!

I can't stop thinking about KoR since I finished reading it.

I LOVE all of the characters and just Onyx Embros and EZEKIEL LIAM KANE.

Lee's writing is so captivating and intriguing and leaves you wanting more.

The story itself is incredible and told in a way that no one has seen before.

A mafia – loosely Alice-In-Wonderland inspired – romance. SIGN ME UP.

The way it's both fast and slow paced is extremely interesting and all the twists and turns that no one could see coming. Because of the way Jacquot tells a story, it's easier to visual everything happening.

The romance between Onyx and Zek is INCREDIBLE. The fact that they are BOTH switches and so intimate and vulnerable with each other despite the Romeo and Juliet take on their families and enemy view with one another makes me love them even more. Just the little moments they have together and the way I can't stop thinking about them has me in a vice.

Everyone in this duet has me loving them all and I NEED MORE.

"You were always going to be my end. Not the other way around."

" 'Almost fourteen years old and she still looks at me like a superhero.' "

" 'My captive, my whore, my queen. You're all these things. But most importantly, you are mine.' "

"'Tell me you hate me.'

"'Let go of my chains so I can show you.'" ← Onyx

Thank you Lee for the opportunity to ARC read.
