I still can't believe that this is Aton's debut! Unexpected was so well written and highly emotional. I'm absolutely in love with Ava and Whit, and their story. I read the majority of this in a day (all while watching Wimbledon, so emotional all around lol). The push and pull of their arcs and them being brought together was beautiful and I got immediately sucked in.

Everyone needs to read this, just drop everything and read it. Now.

I'm so glad I got a chance to ARC read her debut, and I cannot wait for her future books!

And I loved the representation of Ava needing birth control to start her period, it's not something you typically see in books and as having gone through that, its refreshing to see it told

Beautifully Broken

When The Bloom Burns tore my heart in two, sewed it up only to break it again.

I had no idea what to expect going into this. You have Aekta and Ignacio both trying to heal from their pasts, but when their worlds collide, it’s nothing like you believe.

I loved getting both of their perspectives, all of the aftermath. Their thoughts and reactions from the beginning to the love for all in the end.

YD La Mar and Selena Michaels writing is so beautifully written and devastatingly tragic.

Going in blind I feel is the best way to read WTBB, but do be wary of the triggers.

I highly recommend When The Bloom Burns! Go preorder now!

Thank you to YD La Mar & Selena Michaels for an ARC!

"We'll play for keeps."

Holinights and Lee Jacquot is an automatic read, and Liberty Falls is no exception. This is the only time that I will ever have 4th of July pride.

Kameron and Aria are childhood rivals to lovers, blatantly obvious from the get-go. The police chief and fire chief trait is top tier, and nothing will ever top them. Their bets on anything and everything goes was so much fun to read and fell in love with both Kameron and Aria throughout.

Liberty Falls has everything you could want in a romance! HEA, friends to lovers, competition, firefighters and police officers, sensation play, and more!

The ferris wheel scene.

When Kam drilled the hole above her bed whilst she was in the shower.

I NEED MORE, LEE.

"How can a funnel cake be anything other than hot?"

Thank you to Lee Jacquot for an ARC!

"…Paint me real. Paint me life. Paint me perfect."

After reading mostly dark romances for the past 2 months, reading a book that starts out with a "kidnapping" is just perfect.

Paint Me Perfect tore my heart in two and sewed it back together. It's the way I would've broke my kindle but I had the restraint to not throw it across the room. Thank you, i'm proud of myself too.

I read PMP in a day, I could not put it down. I'm a sl*t for a good fake dating trope, but add a sports game first kiss? Auto 5 stars.

Chase and Noa are just perfect for each other, from the fake dating for the tabloids to the moment of realization that they don't wanna leave each other, I need more.

Her insecurities and love for her family is what has Chase falling, and vice versa. Their intense love for each other could be seen by all their friends and family.

I loved everything about Paint Me Perfect, from the Disney movies and references throughout, from the baseball game to Chase taking care of her when she's sick, and down to the intimate moments in-between.

"He kidnaps me. I stalk him. This seems like a very healthy start to a promising relationship."

"Why do tattoo sessions always turn into confessionals?"

Thank you to Kay Cove and Katie and Brey PA for the chance to review Paint Me Perfect and I cannot wait for Addy's story!

The definition of magic.

This is my first genie romance and my first by Brindi Quinn. And it certainly won't be my last.

I swear, I fell in love from the very first sentence.

The way Quinn writes is amazing, lyrical and so full of magic itself. This paranormal romance is something you never knew you needed until you read it and fall in love. AND THAT COVER. *swoons*

The slow-burn mixed with fast-burn romance, the immediate sinking to each other, the way they fall, ugh I love them both so much.

It's such a close call but I think I love Velis the most. His selfishness and cockiness really hiding his layers of self doubt and low self esteem. And Dolly falling in love with him despite all that.

Everything about Come True sucks you in. From the magic itself, to the characters, to their banter. Everything.

I think my family got *is* concerned for me whilst I was reading this, cause I laughed at nearly every chapter, and even teared up several times.

This book will tear your heart out, make you laugh and believe in love again.

"Your world runs on an unseen energy source– that's the definition of magic. They write stories about your world in mine."

"Dolly Jones. A bit porn-starish, no? Thank my mother."

"Okay, now who's the one objectifying?"

Thank you to Brindi Quinn and Katie and Brey PA for the chance to review Come True and I cannot wait for Granted!

Ugh, serial killers romance are becoming the death of me.

I swear, A.J. is quickly added into my top 10 favorite authors, first Owned By The Lost Boys now Depraved
Come on.

I fell in love with Sloane from the first mention that she has not one BUT TWO german shepherds. I would lay down my life for them.

This brought back all my childhood memories of Girl Scouts and camping. But s'mores are my crack. If anyone else says that s'mores aren't theres, they're lying.

Falling in love with another serial killer psychopath? Check.
Falling more in love with their dogs? Check.
Hating Sloane's dad with a burning passion? Double check.

"He's not bothering to hide now."

"I'm sure that my fierce, terrifying guard dog is already stretched out over my queen-size bed, and I know that I'm going to have to fight them both for the privilege of sleeping in my own bed unless I fall asleep out here on the sofa, instead."

"I'll toast your marshmallow."
"That sounds kind of kinky."

The Disney Princess and the Assassin.

Now, I'm a huge space / astrology nerd, so I knew going into TFatS that I would enjoy it. I LOVED it.

I loved the way that Tarot was incorporated throughout the book, and how all the characters in Arcana are part of the Tarot deck. The way that Fox writes is amazing, and you just fall fast and deep into her world.

From the start, Kit and Thea were a perfect couple. (well, not the VERY start, but ya know). The way that Thea is wary but falls headfirst in love, and Kit denying his feelings because of who he is, makes their relationship even better.

I thoroughly enjoyed their banter, and fell in love with both of them quickly.

I mean if you don't fall fast in love with a guy with purple eyes, can speak every language known on Earth, and is a huge fan of rock music. All the while, falling in love with a snarky 23 year old girl, who defies the brainwashing and grooming she grew up with. Then I don't wanna know you.

I loved The Fool and the Sparrow and I cannot wait to continue on!

"Not even Elizabeth Taylor's eyes were that shade."
"I do not know what an Elizabeth Taylor is," …

"Don't forget the rainbows we travel on to get around."

"This is not as pleasing as that strange noodle cake, but I like the saltiness. They go well together,
niev?"

"So begins the end of Snow White."

Holy –, this was so good. I fell in love with both Azura and Snow White pretty much immediately.

Think The Selection meets The Iron King meets Snow White.

A sapphic retelling of Snow White? Sign me up. Right Now.

I loved the near instant falling in love of both, the mental flip flop they go through trying not to.

Both Azura and Snow White are forced to be reckoned with, from Snow being the meek innocent princess to a literal magic eternal saving her girlfriend. Whilst Azura, being a Queen already, protects the one who she never thought would be a problem. Both of them are badass and I can’t help but love them more with every passing word.

The way it’s told and all the illusions and references are perfect and I’m begging for spin offs of everything.

Just the way Jeanette and Alice tell their story is so alluring, and addictive and I need more.

I cannot wait to continue on with the series!

Thank you to Rose & Star Publishing for the opportunity to ARC read. All opinions are my own.

I will always enjoy Mina Skye's books, this one being no exception.

Sammie Flowers is a witch, just coming into her powers. I loved seeing her process and thoughts as she came to learn more about herself and her family and what she's truly capable of. Sammie is a spitfire character that goes from being expelled from several schools to a powerful witch that learns more about herself than before.

Brendon was a lovely character as well, and I loved his and Sammie's dynamics, their banter. His wanting to protect her even though they barely knew each other.

I feel like Vexed is a big mix of Harry Potter and The Vampire Diaries, mixing both the supernatural creatures and lore from both, and I love it.

I really enjoyed Vexed and I cannot wait for Vigilant!

Thank you to Cerise Rose / Mina Skye for provide an ARC review.
