“ ‘Sweet Pea, I promise you, you will enjoy putting the world on its knees.’ “

Legends of Astraea: Cupid’s Arrow is a ya coming of age fantasy ridden with the paranormal.

Ailie, an orphan left at a convent, is thrown into a life of magic and the supernatural after someone close to her is killed.

I loved all the paranormal characters in Cupid’s Arrow; vampires, werewolves, and ghosts, oh my.

While a bit long for a typical YA fantasy, I really enjoyed reading. The mythology, long forgotten civilizations, the attention to detail is amazing.

I loved all of the characters and the relationships and their dynamics is so well done. I absolutely loved it.

Rather such a unique tale Alessandrini spins, Cupid’s Arrow is a must read for any ya fantasy lover.

Thank you to Katie and Brey PA and Sophia Alessandrini for the opportunity to read Legends of Astraea: Cupid’s Arrow.

" 'Alright sunshine, show me your world.' "

Tales of Forever and Now is a standalone novella set in the Tales of Earth and Leaves series.

I received an ARC from Noel after seeing their videos on TikTok, so I was thrown into the series blindly. However, ToFaN didn't disappoint.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the novella, even if I was a bit confused at the beginning. It only lasted a bit before I got ahold of the characters and who they were. If you wanna read Tales of Forever and Now, I highly recommend reading the whole series before delving in.

I liked reading about the supernatural world and the world blending on Earth was well done.

Cressida was a nice MC, but I felt at points that her sexual advances and thoughts got a bit too much for me.

That being said, I loved Cressida and Rhylan together, and I just wish we got at least one chapter of Rhylan's POV.

I recommend ToFaN for any paranormal romance and fae reader!

“Most folks don’t believe in magic. Lucky for us witches.”

Paranormal romance is in my blood, my lifeline. And Possession was no exception.

Damion Blackmon and Aubry Brooks took me over, mind, body, and soul. (No pun intended). I loved their chemistry, the way they understood each other, the way Damion held onto her and never let go. He understood her in the way that she needed to have, and her feeling the same way after a while.

But too, the way Aubry’s entire family wanted them to get together, from the get-go is amazing.

And I feel like Aubry’s Grandma has the same vibes as Mulan’s grandmother.

“Would you like to stay for dinner?”
“Would you like to stay forever?”

I loved a lot of the other characters, and the twists and turns at the end left me on the edge of my seat (well I was on my bed but y’all get the idea).

Possession is now one of my favorite paranormal romances, and I cannot wait for Obsession

“ ‘Little girl, you summoned me! Trust me, I have better things to do than get stuck in some wannabe Sabrina the Teenage Witch.’ “

“ “What did you expect? Black walls, skulls in the corner, spiders in jars?’
‘I don’t know, a little more edge, a little less Martha Stewart?’ “

“ ‘The fact that you even know who Veronica Mars is concerns me.’ “

“ ‘God, I’ve never been more turned on in my life.’ “

AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT COVER

“ ‘The house chose you, dear, not me.’ “

Throw Me To The Wolves is a paranormal dark fantasy, unlike anything you’ve read before.

I really enjoyed Brooks and Ryan’s take on werewolf and witch lore. Seeing a werewolf take their view as a curse isn’t something you typically see a lot in modern media. (Maybe except Tyler in Vampire Diaries).

“ ‘Guilt can be a terrible burden, Britta Orchid.’ "

After fate intertwines Britta and Aaron’s lives, nothing can change the path they’re on. Trying to solve a murder is hard in itself, but solving your family’s murder a decade later? Even harder.

My heart breaks for Britta, after running away from her demons for a decade, just to come back for all the emotion to hit worse. I enjoyed reading her pov even if at points, she was a bit hard to like, but wouldn’t you be too if you went through that in college?

I really enjoyed all the characters, I think my favorite being Aaron, and enjoyed the world we were ‘thrown’ into.

And the twist at the end was so well done.

I can’t wait for the second.

If you want to read a dark paranormal urban fantasy, sprinkled with murder and a bit of romance, definitely pick up Throw Me To The Wolves.

“Every hero needs a villain, right?”

Villainous was so well written and did a wonderful job putting the superhero media on display. Lou Wilham did a fabulous job creating Mythikos, and I loved their writing so much.

The way Villainous tugs at your heartstrings, makes you really think about what team you’re on.

Jericho “Lettie” was an amazing main character and I loved their character arc. Their mixed feelings, the twists and turns you never see coming were so well done, and entertaining.

I loved the representation of all the characters, namely Jericho and Sol. The way that Jericho and Sol will go down swinging for each other, even after all these years; after their childhood screwed their friendship over. It was always ride or die for them, their forevers. Even if they never knew it.

I loved all of the references to mythology and fantasy and retellings, that even in the futuristic world they’re in, they know about Snow White and the Arthurian legends and royalty bloodline.

AND THAT ENDING, UGH KILL ME NOW.

“ ‘Your self made villain.’ “

“ ‘Watch it. You keep defending my honor like that and you’ll wind up in here with me.’ “

“ ‘What’s a little food poisoning between friends?’ …
… ‘Besides, I need him to trust me, and to get him to of that, I need to prove I trust hi,. If that means getting food poisoning so be it. And hey… being taken care of when I’m sick is probably the quickest way to get him to take pity on me.’ “

This is my first Kayt Miller book and I was not disappointed!

I enjoyed reading about Collette and Sam, and their entire relationship from start to finish. From Henry Miller traipsing through Sam's house, to Sonia asking about his personal life, to their families meeting each other.

Collette was a good character to read about, but at times I felt like she could've been stronger and stood up to her family. But knowing what has happened with her family, I don't blame her. And Sam standing up for her! Ultimate boyfriend code. I liked Sam more than Collette, him planning on turning her life around and her realization. Goals.

I read Dream Man in a day, and I truly recommend for any next door neighbor romance,

Thank you to Kayt Miller, Evernight Publishing and NetGalley for an ARC.

"It was absurd how the world kept expecting her to participate when everything was falling apart."

I loved reading Strange Gods and felt fully immersed in Kimble's world.

It feels like a mix between The School for Dangerous Girls meets Holes meets Percy Jackson. If it was darker, and the main girl was kidnapped.

I loved the main 3's journeys, their path to acceptance and who they truly are, compared to what they were thrown into. To go through something traumatizing and scary just to come out of the woodworks, stronger and more confident is a skill all 3 of them now share.

I enjoyed reading through Laurel's (Spooky's) point of view. You can really get into her head and feel like you're right there with her.

I loved the fantasy, the mythology and the magic interspersed in Strange Gods.

I would agree that sometimes it feels more middle grade than young adult, but it's truly up to interpretation.

I highly recommend for any ya dark fantasy lover, lover of magic and mythology and any fan of Holes in general.

“ ‘Come on, Baby Spice. Let’s finish this damn thing together.’ “

Rewrite The Rules was even better than Paint Me Perfect. Kay Cove doesn’t miss.

Adler and Joel’s relationship from start to finish was perfect.

I loved Addie and can relate to her so much. Lover of Sex and The City, Friends, TBBT, Harry Potter, can quote TV shows at the drop of a hat. (The hiking, “athletic” side of her tho, not so much.)

Joel, too, I’m in love. And him guessing which Spice Girl everyone was, and guessing that Mani was Ginger Spice. Priceless.

To see him turn his beliefs around, to believing in love and himself, is so powerful.

And I still love all of the characters, especially Cody and Quinn. For him to really see her, for Addie to accept him and give him her number.

“And why do you know Hannah Montana well enough to casually reference that children’s show?”

“ ‘Why are you crying?’ I whisper against her ear.
‘Because these are all red.’ “

“I’ll admit I was a bit of a late bloomer when it comes to love… but he was worth the wait. He still is.”

"You're the whole f*king show, princess. You're everything."

This is my first book by Ava Munroe, and my first in the Mechanics on Main series.

I devoured Fueled in less than a day. I enjoyed reading Caroline and Remy's relationship, and loved Munroe's writing.

Remy is one you can't help but think is hot. I mean, football coach AND a mechanic? And Caroline radiating body positivity is something you can't help but love.

Yes, they both have flaws? But who doesn't. The way they both push each other away, only to lose each other romantically, and end up in the friend zone until it's too late? It's tragically romantic in a way, and for them to realize in a huge moment that they love each other? Ugh.

And can we just say that we all hate her.

Thank you Ava Munroe for the ARC!
