The conclusion of this era ticks all the boxes in my mind. It's a window of things to come in the cosmere and a satisfying farewell to some entertaining characters. 

This is a re-read. I definitely picked up on more cosmere connections this time around. Loved it.

This was a fantastic reading experience. I really appreciate all the work that must have went into creating this world. Dara and it's people feel almost tangible at this point. I feel like I know so much about them and they have such a rich history. Yet they're changing and evolving like any culture. It's fascinating. 

 
The cooking competition was amazing. I was surprised by how I enjoyed every aspect of the restaurant feud. I just wish Kuni had been there. He would have loved it.

I don't DNF lightly. I want to enjoy the books I pick up but I just couldn't get into the story. I just didn't like the writing. From a narrative standpoint it's kind of boring. The plot is ridiculous. And the characters are flats. I also get the feeling that the author voted for Trump. Its that kind of vibe. 

Reading this put a smile on my face. It's adorable. ❤
