I'm a sucker for a good teen drama. Add in some murder mystery, and I'm instantly hooked.
After basketball-star Steve dumps Alice Ogilve she disappears for five days. Once she returns, she isn't talking. Then, mysteriously, another one of Steve's girlfriend's disappears. Only she doesn't come back. Now there is a reward up for grabs, and Iris Adams decides she's going to help Alice solve this mystery and clear Steve's name. Luckily, they have the complete works of Agatha Christie to help her along.
This is a great story for anyone who is a fan of "One of Us is Lying" and "A Good Girl's Guide to Murder." I hope this turns into a series!

This book is hilarious! I have not laughed this hard at a book in a long time. Leland is a delightful sniper who meets his soul mate in a stake out. Jackson is a private investigator who is being stalked by a sniper. There is spice and danger and hilarity. And they even get their happily ever after.
I laughed. I cried. I wanted to beat up Tina. And Knox a couple times. This book had it all. If you like basset hounds, hot cops, blonde tattoo grumpy barbers, and a runaway bride with daisies in her hair who ends up with custody of her preteen niece named Waylay, this is the story for you.

*Before The Lies by Yolanda Olson*
This is a prequel to “The Lies Between Us” but it should be read after. It was fun to revisit these characters and meet younger versions of themselves. Seeing Jori’s love and need to protect Gracie was beautiful. Reading this all from Hoyt’s point of view was almost chilling. Yolanda had the amazing ability to write stories that a reader won’t soon forget. Every time I read one of her stories, I find myself cheering for the bad guy, just like she wants.
