Some of these poems I really enjoyed but some of them went over my head a bit (probably because my one brain cell isn’t very good at interpreting poetry👀🥴) I kind of want to reread it and pick apart each poem more to try and understand them but let’s be honest I’m too lazy. I will say that I cried 4 times while reading this if that says anything lol
I can’t bring myself to read the last 90 pages of this book but I still want to count it toward my reading goal so I’m giving it two stars and calling it a day✌🏼

This was so good and the second half was crazy! I don't understand why some people were saying this isn't a thriller because it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Highly recommend!

This book was incredible. The pacing was perfect. Bardugo gave enough time in the beginning for us to get to know the characters and the setting, but she still wrote it in a way that I didn’t get bored at all. There was seriously not one boring moment in this book. The twists and turns were awesome and the characters are perfect. Like I’m in love with all of them, even if they are a bunch of criminals lol😂
I love the Grishaverse so much and now I can’t wait to read CK and KoS. And I definitely also want to reread the Grisha trilogy now because I just want to stay in the Grishaverse forever. ❤️

I love Angie's characters, her writing, everything about her books. I can't wait to read everything she writes in the future as well.

This book was an entertaining and enjoyable story and I think the premise was unique. It was hard for me to tell the difference between Jarrell and Quadir at times but I think that is at least partly due to listening to the audiobook. I kind of wish I had read this book physically instead because I didn't like how the audiobook was set up. I really liked Jasmine as a character though. She was strong-willed and her need to bring justice to her brother's death was immense. I enjoyed Tiffany D. Jackson's writing and it really felt like I was in the 90's while listening to this book. Overall, I didn't enjoy this book quite as much as I wanted to, and sometimes I felt my attention slipping from the story, but I would still recommend this book to others and I'm still excited to read Tiffany's other novels.
Read this for my Women in Literature class. I really loved the title story, ‘The Yellow Wallpaper’ and I enjoyed a couple others but some I didn’t enjoy so much so overall giving it 3 stars.
