Overall I didn’t fully guess the big twist which is a great thing for me . There were a few big trigger things for me personally that made it hard to enjoy some parts. Other than that it is a good book but a bit of a slow burn which can make the first half feel long.

AMAZING READ!

This story is written so well. While you see the trouble coming throughout you don’t expect the ending at all. So well written to address issues with racism , gentrification , generational wealth and inaccuracies in standard history teachings while developing amazing characters. What more can I say ? This book is a must read !
