Im so glad to have read this one!  Meredith suffers from something traumatic that happened to her. I felt for her and was rooting for her the whole time! This story has coping with trauma, lost family, guilt, a friendly cat and found family. It brought me sadness, but hopeful for Meredith. I enjoyed reading about her journey.

was told that I had to listen to this one on audio. The last 20% I read physically, but wow. I didn’t know anything about Trevor Noah before listening/reading. This one made me laugh, tear up and got me mad. I learnt things that I didn’t know about that happened in the past and how others were treated or ignored. I loved his story telling of his childhood and how he was so resourceful. Thanks to Ashley for letting me msg her when I was lol or in shock.

Really enjoyed this story. It’s not my usual genre, but so glad to have picked it up and read with a friend. The names were tough to keep straight, but then I got the hang of it.

I was engaged and was interested to see what was going to happen…I definitely didn’t trust and blamed everyone. There were a few twists where I was shocked. I’d say a decent thriller if you want a fast read. I didn’t love it, but didn’t hate it either. The best part was reading with Courtney and friends. I will say, since reading, I have thought about this story often and that is why I gave this one 4 stars.

Finally read this book off my shelf! I didn’t know anything going in, but heard good things. The story is about family, loss, grieving and thinking that you’re always letting someone close to you down. I enjoyed the father and daughter storyline and loved how it took place on a ship so I felt like I was travelling with them. I found this book was about hope and if you fall down…do you or how do you get back up? I enjoyed Greta thinking about the past with her loved one and the stories she remembers.

found this book started off a little slow, but then I fell in love with Eamon and Carla’s story.  Loved reading about their adventures and it made me laugh out loud several times. This book gave me all the emotions. Loved Float Plan so it was so fun to get a glimpse of what Anna and Keane were up to. This book makes me want to pack my bags and head to Ireland😍

Thanks to St. Martin's Press, St. Martin's Griffin and Netgalley for my advanced ecopy in exchange for my honest review.

Loved this book!! This was the story of Layla and Caleb. As soon as I started this book I knew it was going to be a good one.
I loved the small town feel. I love that a part of the book (won’t give it away) didn’t drag out like other stories I have read. It really was great and made me yell awwww at the end. You say phone tree and I giggle and fall in love even more with the story 😍 so glad we read this one for Bookclub as I was putting it off. Loved hearing what worked for me and what didn’t work for others.

Can’t wait to read the next book in this series coming out in fall 2023!

Loved this book! Knew nothing about it going in except that it was heavy and I knew I wanted to take my time reading it. This story follows a girl named Salama who lives in Syria. She volunteers at a hospital and is always trying to help those in need.  Things are not going well in Syria and she knows she should get out while she can, but how do you leave a place you call home?? It is about strength, HOPE, courage, family and love. It had me on my toes wondering what would happen. It was real and emotional. I cannot believe this is a debut.

I love TJR and why was I surprised that this was such a great read??? I haven’t heard much about it, but had the physical copy and the audio. I loved the story. It was told with two scenarios of Hannah’s life. It was just so unique and I couldn’t stop listening to see what would happen. I loved Hannah’s outlook on her life and decisions.  Loved her friendship with Gabby❤️

THIS STORY!! I didn’t know anything about it, but saw great star ratings on this one. I found it slow at times, but did keep wanting to read it as it did keep my attention. Big character development, but that ending…I really enjoyed how it all came together. It’s about a small town that experiences a tragedy and how the MC (Lucas) copes with the aftermath. This story makes you think and reflect which I did enjoy doing.
