My third book by Freida McFadden. What I have enjoyed about her books so far is that there are lots of twists and they are page turners. I can always count on reading her books in a sitting or two. This book was no exception. I enjoyed it as it was creepy, kept you guessing and then was like whoa once everything was revealed. I was hoping for a little more on one part, but won’t give it away. I can’t wait to keep going through her backlist 🙌
I will never get sick of Michelle Obama’s voice. She makes me reflect and I love her story telling.

First book read in 2023!! I was excited to get this book from the library as it’s a newer release. Unfortunately, it fell a little flat for me….it did keep me flipping to see where this story was going. It’s basically rich people behaving badly and throw a mysterious rich family into the mix. I wish it had a few more twists along the way and I found the ending finished up quickly. This could also be the fact that I finished a great thriller right before this one? I don’t know? It just didn’t thrill me enough.

If you love a dark and creepy thriller, this book is for you. I found the beginning to be a little slow, but then things started happening. This one had my jaw dropping at one point. It was creepy with lots of narrators and different timelines, but it worked and I loved the short chapters. I did find it was a page turner, but did have to take breaks in between for some reason. This one definitely made me think at the end about the different characters and it made me me want to chat to whoever will listen to me 😃
I definitely recommend it.
