dark mysterious tense

This book 😱 Seen it all around and needed to read it. Like my sis said, it’s unique. I would go in blind so won’t say much about it.  I was hooked from the start and that Sally, she had me laughing at some of the things she would do. It’s not a comical book though. I found it hard to read at times as it’s disturbing, but kept wanting to read to see what would happen. It was messed up but in a 👀 kind of way. I enjoyed the book throughout, but wish the ending had a bit more wow to it and that epilogue, not sure what that was about 😂  I will say, I finished it yesterday and have been thinking about it since.

Josie and Arlette two former spies are searching for a nazi dr after WWII. This isn’t usually my type of HF, but I did enjoy it a lot . I enjoyed the two POV’s and it had me trying to guess what would happen. There were times I was holding my breath. Don’t let the thickness of the book scare you (500 pages). I finished it in a day and a half as I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to read her backlist and to see what’s next.

Thanks to @penguinrandomca for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.
