Algumas falas iniciais da autora soaram agressivas, entendo o lugar de fala dela, ser subestimado por ser diferente é uma bosta, mas é preciso ter cuidado nas palavras, o desejo dela de valorizar HSP soou agressivo contra quem não é HSP. O livro já tem mais de 20 anos de publicação e o campo da psicologia evoluiu bastante desde então, de modo que muitas das coisas que ela descreve como características de HSP são sinais de autismo ou superdotação, até mesmo uma criança que ela usa de exemplo no livro foi mais tarde diagnosticada como autista. 
O final eu achei mal trabalhado, parece que ela só jogou um amontoado de informações.
Apesar disso, tirei bastante proveito de alguns trechos do livro que fizeram refletir sobre minha infância/juventude.

The audio recording is terrible.

Leitura fácil e fluída.  O livro é a 1a obra da autora e foi inicialmente publicado de maneira independente o que justifica a história ficar repetitiva em certos pontos e até beirar a livro de auto ajuda barata. Mas foi gostoso de ouvir, ajudou a distrair e vou ficar de olho no que mais a autora publicar para ver se há uma evolução já que agora ela tem agência.

The third book of Nervous Condition trilogy. I’m not sure if I’m going to read the previous ones, as while I’m curious about what led the main character to become who she is, it is a very emotional book, difficult to read, topped of with the fact that it is written in 2nd person of singular, making the connection with the character even stronger. 
But overall it was great reading. I’m impressed by the fact that read the world books always makes me stop to reflect, sometimes even investigate what the author meant with the story.

I did not like the writing style of this one, but it was interesting to notice how Allende have evolved her writing in the sequential books.
If it was not for the writing style I would give 5 stars. The story is great, gives a good perspective of what happened to Chile before and during the first years of dictatorship. Some of those parts brought me to tears with feelings of hopelessness.

Boring, annoying, passa pano para aristocratas. 

Sei nem por onde começar a avaliar. Certamente estará na lista dos melhores livros que li em 2025,  ainda que a experiência de ler esse livro tenha sido como comer uma carne indigesta.

A lighthearted, easy to read book, exactly what I needed after reading so many books from Read Around the World. 
But! Women, let’s stop normalizing grown men (and not grown yet) that treats you like shit, want to know who you talk to and when, and that mistreat you because they don’t know how to express their feelings. 

A execução foi muito boa, o livro me cativou durante toda a leitura, apesar das dificuldades na leitura por estar em francês. Fiquei até interessada em ler outra obra da autora. O final é que foi desastroso, muitas pontas soltas sem explicação, talvez a intenção fosse essa mesma, mas não me satisfez.

Fun and entertaining but not grandiose. I definitely don’t like audiobooks with environmental sounds and dialogues.
