This was the perfect book for me for right now. Fantasy/Fairytale-esque settings, dragons, not TOO serious but still substance to the story.
Plus, an introverted (aro)ace main character with anxiety issues? Gee, wonder who could relate to such a character :P

I got this book from a friend yesterday, and finished it this morning. It was so sweet and feelgood, a perfect start of the day <3
I really enjoyed this book. Generally lighthearted with some more serious themes in there as well, including quite a lot of politics, which were quite meta. I liked the multimedia approach with the texts and email and stuff.
Not really big spoilers, but just to be sure. I wish the politics worked out this way in the real world, damn.
How is Muderbot so relatable?
Definitely a rec, enjoyed reading it a lot ^^

I really liked how this book was written. It felt like real interviews with real people, and the differences in their memories of events was fun and well done. I don't know if I would have read this book if it was about a real band, probably not. While I often find it interesting to read about peoples' lives, it somehow also feels invasive in a way (also depending on if they write a book themselves, or if someone else writes about them). All that isn't a problem here, since it's all fictional, so it's prying with no harm done :P
