I loved how multi-faceted the characters were.

I'd say 3,5 but that's impossible. I loved the imagery of this story, but because of the confusing timelines, that I had a hard time remembering, it was difficult to stay on track and engaged in the story. (which resulted in me not continuing reading for almost 2 months, and then finishing in 3 days after that... ) I think maybe I'll reread some day with a notepad for keeping track of the timelines ^^

I liked how many of the stories were recognizable as the famous fairytales I read and listened to when I grew up, but that they were different enough to keep them interesting.
I also enjoyed how they went from set in 'medieval'-ish times, to modern day and even sci-fi settings, it kept it interesting and diverse :D

Ok, it took me two years to finish this book, but that wasn't the book's fault, I promise :P Once I picked it up again (after moving 3 times and keeping it in/on the 'read soon' crate/shelve) I finished it in 5 days :)

This was fun! I love the style of writing and the dry humour.

I just love the humour a lot. (and the diversity and the rants about architecture even though I won't remember any of it probably).
