Enchanted Forests is a wonderful anthology of 10 short stories, all centred in the forest. From goblins to dragons, to unicorns, the authors all have their unique writing styles, whilst working fantastically together.

This collection is truly beautifully written, and magical. Each one takes you on a new adventure that you don't want to end. It's rare that each story is one you enjoy, but Enchanted Forests does this with ease.

⭐ It also has beautiful illustrations!!

All profits of this book will be donated to the Rainforest Foundation which supports indigenous, and traditional peoples of the world's rainforests. So picking up a copy (Ebook or Physical) benefits those who are trying to protect and preserve their environments.

👉 There will be a full review coming to Talis Library blog on Sunday for Indie Sunday.

I don't often pick up Thrillers these days, but Lost to the Lake by Anna Willett was simply fantastic!

Beth awakes one night to a home invasion. Held at knifepoint, her faithful dog 'Angel' is injured trying to protect her... thinking this is the worst that can happen, Beth quickly finds her perfect life completely shattered as her husband reveals they can't go to the police!

This short story collection features tales of suspense, horror, loss, and all things macabre.

Stories range from one to nine pages, during which P.L. McMillan expertly captures the unease and eerie nature of well-known horror authors such as Henry James, and Shirley Jackson.
