I really liked this book a lot because the characters were cute and there were so many gay boys and also too many music references that I did not understand but I want to be Nick and Norah kind of except they both have really terrible exes except help I actually like Tris and Tal sucks but his name is close to Talia and that's my name and he's Jewish and I'm Jewish so we are ~making connections~ so anyway this book won my heart i think goodnight

I can't make myself rate this five stars because I was so anxious but not anxious enough and I loved so many parts but I don't know?? I can't relate to the plot or characters at all I guess but from a more objective standpoint it was so quality and quotable help
and the love between tyler and the narrator killed me IT KILLED ME

This book was a very well-done progression of the events that took place in Gone. Nearly everything that happened was incredibly frustrating, but it needed to be frustrating to maintain the storyline. I liked the development of most characters (except Caine. I loved him so much and his weakness in this book made me lose respect for him). All in all, I really enjoyed Hunger.
Most of my thoughts about this book were immediately shared with Connor as I read and as soon as I finished, so I'll post those texts here to give any readers of this review some of my specific musings regarding book 2.
Me: I read Quinn's name and momentarily literally could not remember who he was
Connor: Proud of you

I was not impressed by this book. There didn't seem to be much plot advancement, all the characters annoyed me, and I felt like the climax fight scene was way too short to make up for the mediocrity of the rest of this book.
