This book was painful to read. I wanted to scream and cry and throw it at the wall. It was wildly frustrating and incredibly disturbing and consistently disgusting. But damn. It was so good.

This rating is solely plot-based becAuse the writing is rough and Karsten uses too much figurative language and all of my favorite characters were dead but whatever it was fine I liked it okay
And omf the last chapter/epilogue was the WORST (2080 does not make sense as a year for Ash's and Wesley's reincarnations to be adults, KARSTEN!!! They would have had to die pretty young like early sixties tops!!!!) and I don't think I could have rolled my eyes any more than I did.
AND I forgot about this earlier but I hated the Cloak storyline so much, and its resolution probably could not have been less satisfying.
