- The writing was repetitive and lackluster. The best way I can describe it is pedestrian.
- Amnesia plotlines aren't my favorite because I just get frustrated with them, and constantly being told "I don't remember XYZ" by the main character.
- I'm not super familiar with the Greek mythology of the Labyrinth and the Minotaur to comment on specific details. But in my opinion it didn't seem very labyrinthian/maze like? I honestly had a hard time picturing the setting most of the book (and I'm usually not someone who has issue with this).
- I thought the mirrors being portals to the past was an interesting idea.
- On the surface level yes it does read like a 'true' enemies to lovers arc - the hatred of the two MCs is palpable (and also brought up repetitively) but I also didn't think the romance was well developed enough. It relied too much on 'things that happened in the past' and we were just told kinda suddenly that they loved each other?
- There is no where near enough explicit/spicy scenes for this to be considered 'erotica' - them just being kinky etc does not automatically qualify a book as erotica. From memory there's like several mentions of past things, one mild-spice, and then one *big* scene. To me no more than a typical romance.
- I don't get how this is going to be a series? cause it seemed pretty final by the end.
Ultimately I just really didn't care about the characters, or what was happening with them so it's a no for me.
I received an arc of this book - all opinions are my own. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher.

Despite that I did like the MC's and their bookish ways and laughed out loud at a few parts.

Minor: Infidelity, Injury/Injury detail
I still waiver on some of the nods/references, but overall I think they were funny additions and I didn't cringe too hard at them. The spice was very good and I really appreciated the perspective and respect given to someone who is demisexual. Also we love to see representation of chronic migraine ✌️

BUT
suspend some reality with me cause I adore them! I was SO into Chloe forcing Santiago to accept himself before she will move their relationship forward! Please also just make this the F1 world we live in with disability accommodations! Yes yes yes!

Blythe's story in the latter half is SO sad, and it did make me emotional, just the sacrifices she has to make as someone who is such a strong willed character.Jury is out on the twist, I'm not sure how I feel about it.
I did ultimately enjoy Blythe and Aris's relationship, the library scene was very Beauty & the Beast. I also liked the epilogue. That felt like a full circle moment to me.

The world building just didn't really draw me in. I was most invested in the minor romance plot. The ending was a little wild, but idk if I care enough to continue the series.

This is fr my favorite YA series with characters that I love probably more than most characters I've ever read. At one point while reading this book I looked at my partner and said out loud (while crying) "I just care about these characters so much!"
Basically everything I wanna say is a spoiler so:
Knowing that this was going to be Nick's book, as a Selwyn girlie (he is actually my favorite book boyfriend ever, everyone leave Sel alone!) I had the expectation that we wouldn't get a lot of him in this book. WHICH IS FINE. Bloodmarked was That Book for me. I can reread it eternally (and plan to). But I do now understand what the Nick stans felt reading Bloodmarked :p
I am *actually* a throuple stan, please dear god Tracy give it to us I BEG! No three characters have ever meant more to each other and deserve to have happiness together. LET THEM LOVE EACH OTHER!
Switching from Bree's pov only from books 1 and 2 to getting multiple povs was definitely a vibe change. I did appreciate that it allowed us an expansion of the world, and to see more character development. Did it also probably make this book a tad too long? Yes. There were a few times while reading that the pace just really slows down, but I'm not sure how much could be cut to alleviate this. So maybe this was partially me always wanting to be around are trio and when we're not I just miss them. Besides for William's POVs cause his chapters actually gave me heart palpitations and made me cry.
The ending IS CRIMINAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually screamed out loud
I cannot believe that we might have to wait another 3 years for the final book. I am unwell.
