Super fascinating retelling of the Persephone myth. Perhaps I should say this is actually a reimagining, because it's very different than what I'm used too when it comes to Greek myth retellings. I really Also, the artwork for this book is stunning!

Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me is a unique and honest coming-of-age story. I didn't expect it to be so much of a bildungsroman, but I was so happy to hear that it was this!

I think this a great graphic novel with great representation that really focuses on personal growth.

I really enjoy this comic series. It's so fun and lighthearted. I love the feminist themes and all the sapphic women!

After reading the first book in the series, I was really excited to jump into this but it just didn't hold the same kind of magic.

Felicity was a difficult narrator/protagonist to like and even though she really developed as a character, I often found her insufferable.

Super funny (kind of sexy) romp with some characters I love!

This book was SO MUCH FUN! I read it in about two sittings because I just enjoyed hanging out with Monty, Percy, and Felicity.

I love that the author did a lot of research to make this fairly accurate and really highlight the struggles that each of the characters face. I'm really excited to read the rest of the books!

I really liked this book. The story was fresh and entertaining and I felt that I was really able to understand Codi and what she was going through the summer before her senior year.

However, I find the plotline with Maritza to be wholly unbelievable and inexcusable. At times, it made the book difficulty to get through.
