Definitely enjoyed this book, but not as good as Maas's Throne of Glass series. Will continue on with this trilogy, especially after really enjoying the ending.
I really enjoyed reading this book because it offered a different perspective on integration and the process by which ideas and beliefs are "taught" to us as young children. I definitely recommend this book to all people, but particularly those living in the American South.
Good book for historical context-- tells an typically unheard story and promotes discussion on European imperialism/colonialism & its effects on native civilizations to current African nations. Highly recommend, even though author & artist took a lot of license with the graphic novel portion (although this section really humanizes the people involved).

Really enjoyed this play, forces the reader to think about the ethics of magic in a human realm.
Really enjoyed Alison Bechdel's graphic memoir, and definitely recommend it. I have not read many books focused on LGBTQIA+ themes and reading this definitely makes me want to be more intentional about what I read.
I read this book per recommendation by one of my professors' in order to help me with writing a short story I am working on. I had watched the movie a few years ago, but can definitely say I enjoyed this book much more than the movie (although the movie is very good). Highsmith's ability to make a creepy situation, but keep it so understated, is unrivaled.
John Corey Whaley's third novel is a masterful look at mental illness. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to anyone of any age. Whaley's writing always strikes a cord with me and I suggest you check out his other two novels (Where Things Come Back, Noggin) as soon as you can.
Not my favorite Riordan fantasy-- had too many similarities to PJO. However, the end of the book proved promising and I plan on reading the sequel.
